I am on the getting engaged goal. I already have a married couple with a child but the goal isn't going. I tried to get a different couple engaged due to the goal saying "we'll give you a ring" when it hasn't. I can only use the eternity ring too! What can I do?

Soz mate I don't think you can do anything except try it on another two sims

I have the same problem and it really annoying, I thought getting married would maybe solve it even though the don't mean the same. I tried it with another two sims after though even though I found this sock annoying, I just kept been 'romantic and everything and it eventually popped up t get engaged ... Try it

Ugh, I have exactly the same problem. It says it will give me the ring, but it doesn't...

It gives you lp for the ring so you can buy them a dearmring then they will get married

If you have the "get engaged" goal then make your sims be romantic with each other a couple times. Then make one of your sims propose to the other. If it only lets you get the eternity ring, then click on that and your other sim will say yes.
