You can but it will cost 5000.
Click on the new house and scroll along til you find your sim

Unfortunately, that answer only works for a house that has been previously occupied, and if you are at your maximum population.

I have a problem where I spent a lot of money to have an awesome new skateboard park house built, but I can't move anyone in. Every time I click on it, I only get the option to add new sim to my town.

I have a second empty house (because I completed the goal about having a sim move out of the town). This house is different. It makes simoleans on a timer -- the new never-been-occupied house does not. When I click on the vacated house, I get the Relocate Sim menu. But I only get the Create a Sim menu on the new house. :(

Am I just stuck?

Why don't you add a new sim for the house then make them leave town

Why don't you just add a new sim exactly like the sim you want to move out then delete the sim you want to move. You'll just have to get reacquainted with other sims

You have to go to edit town, click on the lot and change it to a resedential. I hope that helps, I am not sure what your asking.

If you buy a new house when it's finished building touch it an it gives you the option to move your sims there

I want to move a sim to an empty lot because you get to build your own house there. Do I really need 5000 simoleans? Bummer

First, go to your newly built house. Then, sell some items that you don't like or don't need importantly until you get 5000 cash.
Then you move in a created sim.
I hope you like my way to do that.
I am from burma. I love you guys.
Bye guys
Good luck
