Mini Sub-Events

Thank you for printing this page from Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Tales of Berseria
Last Updated:

This page covers all the short side events in the game, be it one that leads to a battle with a code red daemon or something that serves to simply expand the story a little through extra skits. The ones that open up new locations are also listed here.

Heavy Eater

After completing your second visit to Loegres Villa, head to the inn at Yseult and speak to the man there. He mentions a daemon lurking within the Palamides Temple, so go there and you'll see a sub-event marker in one of the rooms. Waiting here is the code red daemon Gluttony which drops the Survivor's Ventite upon defeat.

Broken Malak

Once you've unlocked the final dungeon, visit the sanctuary in Loegres to listen in on a discussion between a pairr of exorcists. After that, head to the sub-event marker in the Faldies Ruins to fight the code red daemon Bison Heddin who drops the Roaring Glacite.

The Truth of the Past

Once you've unlocked the final dungeon, stop by the docks in Yseult and speak with Morgrim (Shigure's cat). Next, enter the rift at the Shrine of Tranquility beyond the Tranquil Woods. There, you'll get to view a series of events as you move along the earthpulse. The code red daemon Phantom is also in here and drops the Expert's Ignicite when defeated.

Relic of Another Civilization

Once you've unlocked the final dungeon, go to Yseult and look for a Bloodwing agent behind one of the houses near the tavern. He speaks of one particular treasure chest in Manann Reef that no one can open. Eizen apparently knows the password for it so head to the northmost portion of Manann Reef to find the aforementioned chest and open it to get an extra skit.

Divided Futures

After completing the sub-event "Zavied's Style", head to Stonebury and listen in on the discussion between the exorcists. This grants you access to the Hexen Isle once again so sail there. Don't forget to activate the geotree as well as open the the Katz box in the southeast section while you're here. The code red daemon Demon Rodler drops the Armory Acerite IX when defeated. Finally go face the dragon Hellkite and kill it to complete this event.

Katz Korner

This sub-event pops up after you've unlocked the final dungeon. Open at least 38 Katz boxes to receive an the Invitation key item, then speak to the Katz behind the inn at Taliesin. You'll need to use the geoboard to reach him. Once you're in Katz Korner, activate the geotree and collect all the loot. The weapons vendor is selling a full set of Adamantine gear so hopefully you have the gald to buy all of them. The treasure chests here often contain Adamantine Fragments when they respawn as well so its a good place to stock up on the material.

Normin Island

To unlock this location, you need to discover at least 15 areas via expeditions, and must see all the related skits. Once the requirements are met, your expedition has a chance of discovering a new location. After which a skit will pop up, view it and the sub-event that leads you to this island becomes available. Make sure to activate the geotree and open the Katz box too.

Arthur the Exorcist

After beating the game, head to Normin Island and speak with the green Normin. He sends you to Lothringen so chat with the Normin there too. Finally, head to Aball and examine the two gravestones to complete this sub-event. It doesn't give you much in terms of reward but at least you do get a few skits added to your tally.
