Selecting the ship for your individual adventure not only will change how you play, but it will also dictate how successful you ultimately are. In order to pick the perfect ship for your journey, you will first need to decide what type of adventure you would like to have. If you are looking to have a large crew with tons of maties, then definitely go with the Galleon as your ship. Due to its size, it can hold a larger crew for you to travel with, but it will also need more than one person to properly run it. To compensate for this, it can hold the more cannon, withstand more attacks, and is overall faster on the seas.
But if a Solo Run through Sea of Thieves is what you are looking for, then wisely go with the Sloop over the Galleon. The Sloop really only needs one person to man it, but it can actually hold two people if you would like a friend or just one crew member on board with you. It is much smaller than the Galleon because of this, and everything on board is packed closely together. Due to its size and structure, you will need to be excellent at multi-tasking if you go with the Sloop over the Galleon. The Sloop also doesn't hold as many Cannons and it isn't as quickly as the other sailing vessel, but it is much better at orchestrating fast maneuvers and when going against the wind.
