Let's face it: as your Reputation with each of the three Trading Companies continues to increase and you are then able to buy Promotions, some of the Voyages you will receive from them can get quite difficult. Some of them are so extremely hard to successfully complete that odds are you will have abandon a few of them along the way. In order to better keep this from happening so you can reap all the rewards from these Quests, check out our five Voyage tips below to be better set with what you may face in the wild!

5 Voyage Tips

1) Chickens are extremely easy to run up to and catch; however, Pigs and Snakes are a little more difficult to catch. Pigs are extremely fast and are easy scared, while Snakes can bite you and infect you poison. Always consider this when accepting a Voyage from the Merchant Alliance that includes these types of animals.

2) Since Snakes are really the animals that can attack you, try playing a soothing tune to mellow them out. Because Pigs are hard to catch do to their speed, trying using a banana to lure them in. Both of these techniques should help you nab both of these types of animals.

3) As you progress in Voyages, more and more variations of skeletons will appear, including the Shadow Skeleton. Shadow Skeletons are extremely difficult to defeat, but thankfully they despise the light. In order to make them easier to defeat, use natural light or the light from your lantern.

4) Unlike some skeletons, Gold Skeletons are quite fast when compared to others. Because of this, it will be key to slow them down so you can defeat them easily. In order to slow down these type of skeletons, try throwing a bucket filled with water at them. If done properly, you will successfully slow them down.

5) Another difficult type of skeleton are Plant Skeletons, Unlike other skeletons, Plant Skeletons will actually regenerate while in sunlight. On top of this, they take zero damage whatsoever from bullets of any gun you may have. Because both of these things, you will quickly need to cut them down with you Cutlass as fast as you possibly can.
