How To Find & Catch Snakes

Snakes are one of three different type of animals you can find, capture and sell (usually to the Merchant Alliance) during your adventure. Like all animals found throughout the game, you will have to use crates (obtained in the wild or from the Merchant Alliance at the start of each Voyage) to ultimately capture and house Snakes before selling them.

Unlike Chickens and Pigs, Snakes can actually fight back. On top of this, Snakes are usually found spaced out from one another. Thankfully, however, they rarely move around all that often. In order to properly tame a snake in order to catch it, you will have to have one of your crew members (or even yourself) play music to soothe the creature of land. If you don't, snakes will have no issues lunging at and poisoning you.
