How To Find & Catch Pigs

Added:

Pigs are one of three different type of animals you can find, capture and sell (usually to the Merchant Alliance) during your adventure. Like all animals found throughout the game, you will have to use crates (obtained in the wild or from the Merchant Alliance at the start of each Voyage) to ultimately capture and house Pigs before selling them.

As you many expect, Pigs are much larger than both Chicken and Snakes, which is why they are often found spread throughout Islands. Unlike Chickens and Snakes, Pigs are also quite fast (and they scare easily too). If you're looking to easily get a Pig into one of your crates, you will actually have to lure them with a banana. Pigs will also need to be fed using more bananas from time to time on your Voyage back to an Outpost - something you don't have to do for the other animals found within the game - which you will easily know to do because your Pigs will begin whining and sitting on their haunches when they are starving.
