How to do you get through the first night in Survival mode?

As there is not enough time to build a house on the First Day you will need to make a cave you can hide in by digging a cutout into the stone. Dig about 8 or 10 deep and then round a corner out, if you then stick some torches outside the entrance to your cave you will keep the Mobs and Monsters away.

Can you play Survival mode without Mobs and Monsters?

If you want to play Survival mode without the Mobs and Monsters coming out at night go to 'Settings' and move the difficulty slider all the way to the left, doing this will turn on Peaceful mode.

How durable are Tools?

Most Tools have a fixed amount of uses and a limited durability that depends on their tier.

Are Tools stackale?

Tools are not stackable due to the fact that they have durability. The only exceptions are empty glass bottles, clocks, maps, and compasses.

What is Enchanting

This feature was added in Update 0.12.1 and is an in-game mechanic that enables the player to give special abilities to Tools and armour. This can be done using an Enchantment table, anvil, or commands.

How do you know when an item has been Enchanted?

Enchanted Items have a purplish glow to them.

What Items get the best results when Enchanted?

Despite their low durability, gold Items will get the best results when Enchanted.

How do you get the Mending and Frost Walker Enchantments?

What are Items?

Items are materials that, unlike blocks, cannot be placed and only exist in the player's inventory or in their hands. Items can be dropped by Mobs, found in chests, or crafted by the player. The only exception to this is flint and steel and fire charges as they can be placed down as fire.

What blocks affected by gravity?

A_Top snow, sand, red sand, concrete powder, gravel, TNT, anvils all obey gravity and will fall if there is no block directly below them.

Do Mobs obey gravity?

All Mobs obey gravity, except for Ghasts, Bats, and sometimes Blazes.

What is food used for?

Food was added in update 0.4.0 and is a collectable resource that is used to restore the player's hunger and is essential for surviving.

How do you harvest wood in Survival mode?

You can harvest wood in Survival mode by walking up to a tree and punching it. After so many punches you will see a little wood block fall when the wood is destroyed.

How do you find coal in Survival mode?

If you dig downwards at least five blockes in veins of earth where stone meets dirt and grass with a stone pickaxe you will always yeild coal.

What happens if you put two different potions into a caulron?

If you put two different potions into a cauldron both potions will disappear.

Can all potions be brewed?

Yes, the only exception is the Potion of Decay which is exclusive to Minecraft PE.

How do you cure a zombie villager?

A Splash Potion of Weakness and a Golden Apple are needed in order to cure a zombie villager.

How can you improve potions?

Glowstone, which can be found in The Nether, make potions stronger. Redstone, which can be found underground, makes them last longer.

How can I mine more redstone with a pickaxe?

You will receive more redstone if you mine with a pickaxe with Fortune Enchantment.

What is the redstone signal length?

The strength of the redstone signal decreases with length. It is able to travel a maximum of 15 blocks before a redstone repeater is needed to boost the signal strength.

Mushrooms will grow at any light level 12 or below and will grow at the same rate regardless of light level.

How do you climb up a waterfall?

You should be able to climb up a waterfall by getting in the water and pressing and holding the jump button.

Is it possible to use the Crafting Table in Creative mode?

The Crafting table is not available in Creative mode due to most Items are there for you already.

In Creative mode is there a way to light tnt without mods?

There is currently no way to light tnt in Creative mode

How do I put a zip file in my Dropbox so I can release a map?

Open iFile tap on the .zip file then tap Dropbox and it should start uploading from there.

Is it possible to port maps from the PC to the Pocket Edition?

Due to iOS 6 restricting root access, this is currently not possible.

How do you change the game mode without iMCPEdit on IOS?

There is an option within the world data section of your map.

Why is the build limit 128 instead of 256 like PC?

This is because phones and tablets cannot handle as much game processing as PCs.
