Tools

To be a successful farmer, you will need several tools to aid you in accomplishing your daily tasks such as planting, watering, and harvesting your crops.

The tools will be available in your Rucksack. To pick which tool to use, you will simply have to open up your Rucksack and pick the tool you’d like to use. Most of the time, though, the correct tool that must be used will be activated immediately depending on the activity that you will engage in (ex. The hoe will be used if the next action needed on the land will be tilling the land. Likewise, the Watering Can will also be activated if the next action required is to water the crops and so on.)

One of the things you will be able to have when the game begins is the Hoe—since you will be using that during the tutorial stage with your Harvest Sprites. Those Sprites will also be the one to give you the Watering Can which will be one of the most important tools in your collection. Aside from the Harvest Sprites, one of your basic sources for additional tools would be the townspeople—some would give you tools as a present for meeting you the first time while some may grant you some tools as a reward.

Here are some of the few tools you will be using in the game:

Hoe:

Description: This is used to till your land. It can be upgraded by visiting Brutus. Once the Hoe is upgraded you will be able to till more plots of land with every swipe.

Watering Can:

Description: Your Watering Can will be provided by Rowan. It will be used to water the plants in your field. This can be upgraded by visiting Brutus. Once it is upgraded, you may water more plots of land with a single swipe.

Axe

Description: Your basic axe will be provided to you by Tony. Once you have an Axe, you will be able to chop down trees and claim the lumber from it. The Axe can also be upgraded by Brutus. Once it has been upgraded, you may get to chop even bigger trees.

Hammer:

Description: The Hammer will be one of the first gifts you will receive from Brutus. This hammer will be used to smash rocks you can see everywhere. Once you have enough resources, you can upgrade the Hammer by visiting Brutus too. Upgrading the Hammer will give you the ability to smash even bigger rocks.

Fishing Rod:

Description: This is a tool you will receive from Gilbert. This will help you catch fishes in lakes around the area. Just like most of the tools, you will be able to upgrade this tool by visiting Brutus. Once it is upgraded, you will have the ability to catch even bigger fishes.

Brush:

Description: You may acquire this tool from Hunter. This is used to brushing your animals. Brushing your animals everyday will increase their happiness. An high level of happiness will keep your animals healthy enough to provide you with better resources (such as milk, wool, and eggs).

Clipper:

Description: Just like the Brush, Hunter can give you this tool. You can use this to clip wool from your Sheep, which you may sell afterward.

Milker:

Description: Similarly, this tool will be provided to you by Hunter. It will allow you to milk your Cows, which you may sell afterward or even use as a recipe.
