Aside from your house, one facility that will be available for your use as soon as you begin the game is the Barn. However, you won’t be able to make use of the Barn yet since it will be empty.

Chickens provide you decent rewards by providing you Eggs. These Eggs can be used for cooking Recipes, which of course you can use as a meal for yourself or even as a gift!

The Chickens will also be one of the animals that you can get first before the Cow or the Sheep. To acquire one, you must proceed to Hunter’s shop and pay up 2000G. After your purchase, you may visit your baby chick in your barn.

With your baby chick, all you have to do is help it grow into a full adult Chicken. It will take approximately nine days for a baby chick to grow into an adult chicken -- whereas it will take around seven days for an egg to hatch a baby chick.

Note: Hunter is not going to sell you Chicken eggs which you can wait to have hatch into a chick.

To help your chick grow into an adult Chick, you will have to take care of them well. This includes petting them every day and making sure that they are well fed. You may allow your Chicken to graze on your field of grass during a Sunny day. But just make sure that you don’t forget to bring them back inside the Barn before going to bed or when it rains. Keeping them out in the rain or overnight will damage your relationship with your animal.

Once you have an adult Chicken, your next goal will be to help the Chicken lay some eggs. Just the same as the time when they were chicks, you will have to take care of the Chickens by providing them the right amount of love and care through proper feeding and affection. Keeping their happiness up is important because their happiness affects the quality of eggs they will produce.
