How to Use the Phone
Your phone is a powerful tool you have access to in Far Cry 6 that is particularly useful when you are carrying out stealth missions. It lets you scan the surrounding area, so you can pinpoint the locations of security cameras and alarms, tag enemies and provide information on what weapons they have, how strong they are, and also what ammo type works best against them. Also, providing you are in the area, you can use the cellphone to see through walls. This How to Use the Cellphone guide will tell you everything you need to know.
In order to access your phone you have to click on the Up arrow on the D-Pad of your controller. On the PlayStation and Xbox you can use R2 and L2 or RT and LT respectively to zoom in or out in the camera while using the phone to scan your surrounding area. If you are using a PC, you can access the phone by tapping the 'X' key on your keyboard and then using the scroll wheel up or down to zoom in and out. Security cameras and alarms will be signified by solid red icons on the mini-map. Enemies will be auto-tagged regardless of whether you are using a console or PC, you simply have to hover over them. There are certain objects that you can't tag, such as military vehicles. Unless you are planning on going in all guns blazing, it is essential that you use the phone when you plan on taking down an enemy base or checkpoint as it enables you to know where everything is, which will make your objective easier.
