Mythical Animal Guide

In Far Cry 6 there are five Mythical Animals spread across the map for you to hunt down. These animals are stronger than their normal counterparts and will require heavy-duty firepower to take them down. Hunting the mythical animals is essential for completing the 'Ultimate Predator' achievement/trophy and eventually the Platinum trophy/achievement that can only be acquired once you have fully completed the game. This Mythical Animal Guide will tell you what these animals are and the location where each of them inhabit.

Mythical Animals are unique animals that only appear one time in the game at fixed spawn locations. When you fully upgrade the Hunter's Lodge Camp Facility at one of the three Guerilla Camps in Far Cry 6 they will become marked on your in-game map. You will be able to keep track of your progress hunting the Mythical Animals by going to 'Inventory', selecting 'Tradeables', and then 'Gear'. Each of the Mythical Animals give one unique item drop, and you will still be able to hunt them once you have completed the story in free-roam.

Mamutito

This wild hog roams the northern region of Isla Santuario, specifically in Vencejo where it can be found in a little stone cave. Unlocks Mamutito's Tusks which can be exchanged at the Hunting Lodge for a new piece of gear.

Black Demoniaco & White Demoniaco

These animals are wolves and they can be found in the Madrugada region. Both wolves (white and black) spawn together here in the same spot. Unlocks Black and White Demoniaco Pelt, which can be exchanged at the Hunting Lodge for a new piece of gear. It is recommended that you should be at least Rank 15 before you enter this zone.

Venodiente

This crocodile is found in the Valle De Oro region, specifically in the Balaceras region. You will find it towards the southwestern corner of the map, right next to the Crocodrilo Swamps. Unlocks Venodiente Leather, which can be exchanged at the Hunting Lodge for a new piece of gear.

Sanguinario

This jaguar is found in the south of El Este, specifically the Sierra Perdida section of the map. It will be towards the bottom of the map near Promised Peaks. Sanguinario only spawns at night, so if the jaguar is not there immediately after nightfall, you will need to return a few times throughout the night until it spawns. Unlocks Sanguinario Pelt, which can be exchanged at the Hunting Lodge for a new piece of gear.
