In Cadence of Hyrule rupees are the base currency while diamonds are the premium currency and to purchase some of the Special Items the game has to offer you will need diamonds. This How to Get Diamonds Guide for Cadence of Hyrule will tell you how to earn those diamonds.
When you die in Cadence of Hyrule you will be given the opportunity to spend the diamonds you have earned in a mysterious merchant's shop. You will be able to purchase anything you see at his shop using your diamonds, the contents of which will change each time you die. If there is nothing there you like you can walk out of the shop and save your diamonds for another time when something will be there which you want. Unlike rupees you will not lose diamonds when you die.
Although the items in this mysterious merchants shop change every time you die there will always be items there worthwhile purchasing, this will include better weapons and hearts. The only problem though is diamonds in Cadence of Hyrule are difficult to earn and the only method that you can get them is to maintain an extended streak by moving and attacking correctly to the beat of the music while at the same time not breaking your flow. The longer you can keep a streak alive which is indicated by the Tri Force at the bottom of the screen which will light up, emitting a small lightning discharge, the more diamonds you will acquire from the final enemy you slay in an area. You will not pick up diamonds from killing random enemies in Cadence of Hyrule, it has to be the final one in an area.
