10 Pokemon Sun and Moon Evolutions that Make Sense

#2 - Deoxys

Oh yeah... It's about time that we mention a Legendary / Mythical Pokemon, and none are more perfect than the one, the only, Deoxys. Deoxys is really the only Legendary Pokemon that has a connection between itself and outer space, and it would allow the creators of Pokemon to give the World of Pokemon another Primal Evolution that makes sense. After the whole Primal Groudon / Primal Kyogre fiasco in the Hoenn Region that forced Rayquaza to Mega Evolve, and since Rayquaza later fought Deoxys in space no less, Deoxys sort of has a right to Primal Evolution or Mega Evolution.

With a Primal or Mega Evolution, Deoxys would be something else, it really would. The hard part is just deciding where to put all of its stats to make it as great as it should be. It would need to be the perfect combination of all of its form, and we think that would most likely come with a little less Speed (but it has to have some sort of setback). We think a good split between its stats would be 50/150/125/150/125/100. Its Speed would be a bit a of letdown, not to mention its Hit Point Stat that can't be altered. But still, Mega / Primal Deoxys would be a Bulky Mixed Sweeper unlike any other. The creators could always give it a little less power for a little more speed, should they choose to do so.

Everything else about Deoxys would remain the same, outside of its ability. Pressure just wouldn't cut it, especially if its a Primal Deoxys. Perhaps they can give it an ability that creates an alternate world effect that enhances Psychic Moves or weakens Dark and Ghost Moves. If they just give it Mega Evolution, however, they might be able to get away with Pressure as an ability, but Insomnia would seem a little bit better (and would match it to Mewtwo Y).
