Top 15 Hoenn Pokemon that Deserve a Mega Evolution

#10 - Crawdaunt

If there was one Pokemon that greatly improved in the Fifth and Sixth Generation of Pokemon, it definitely had to have been Crawdaunt. It received an INCREDIBLE Hidden Ability in Adaptability, which boost the STAB bonus to x2; Knock off, which it could know, grew to have ENORMOUS Power; and last, but certainly not least, Cradaunt was given the chance to also know Aqua Jet, that made up greatly for its speed deficit.

A Mega Crawdaunt would continue to build on what was set for Crawdaunt, and really, that's the only way to do it. It would probably keep Adaptability because it's ALREADY a FANTASTIC ability. Its typing would also remain the same, along with its given movepool. And as for its 100 Base Stat Mega Evolution Boost: most of it will be given to its Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. We also think there's a chance its Special Attack will also receive a boost because the creators have done this before, but we hope it's not THAT BIG of one. Mega Crawdaunt will be CRAZY strong with that new Attack Power with Aqua Jet and Knock Off. It will quickly grow in popularity, and will become one of the better Physical Sweepers in the World of Pokemon.

#9 - Torkoal

Sneaking in our top ten on this countdown is Torkoal, the relatively useless Fire Pokemon. It has an AMAZING Defense Stat, but that's about it. Since there's really nothing left to be said about it, we might as well just jump into what we image for it as a Mega Evolution.

Mega Torkoal would have a simple change in a few areas, but A LOT of change in just about every other area. To start, Torkoal needs some Dual Typing. And the best one for it would probably be a Ground Typing. This will give STAB to moves such as Earthquake. Next off, we think Mega Torkoal's Stats will be transformed into something incredible. It's not realistic or wise to invest in its HORRIBLE Speed Stat, so that it will have to deal with on its own. Everything else, however, could have a complete makeover. We see it losing a TON of Special Attack Power (about 50 Base Points), but it will be well worth it in the long run. With these 150 Unused Base Stats, 80 can be given to its Special Defense and 10 to its Defense, bring them both to a grand total of 150. That's INSANE! The other 60 Base Stat Points can be given to its Attack Stat, bring it to a grand total of 145. This would make Torkoal UBER STRONG, but still very slow and very weak to Water Type Attacks. Torkoal would also need a move like Flare Blitz for all of this to come together.
