Top 15 Hoenn Pokemon that Deserve a Mega Evolution

#11 - Hariyama

Just missing our Top Ten is Hariyama, the bulky kung fu Pokemon. Most trainers remember facing this thing in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, being a popular in game Pokemon. It never became a good Pokemon for competitive play, but it still was a good Pokemon. But as more generations of Pokemon came, Hariyama became less and less good. But a Mega Evolutions should change that.

Mega Hariyama would still be a bulky tank, but it would be interesting if for some reason it becomes a fast yet powerful sweeper - just a thought. Most likely it will continue to be a tank, and that's probably best for it. We can see most of the Mega Evolution Stat Boost being spread between Hariyama's Defense and Special Defense, along with a smaller boost to its Attack Stat. Mega Hariyama could take hit after hit, and yet still deliver some harsh blows. Its Speed would remain the same, but not every aspect of Mega Forms can be perfect. Along with these stats, we think it would be best if Hariyama received a Normal Typing Addition as well as the ability Scrappy. This will further help its offensive battling tactics. It would give a more balanced style to it.
