The Top 10 Most Frustrating Xbox LIVE Achievements

03. Mega Man 10

Mega Man (known as Rockman in Japan), is a platform style video game franchise brought to us from Capcom, that stars the titular robot character Mega Man (or one of his many counterparts), that has grown over the years to over 50 games on multiple systems. Considering that it is one of the most prolific - if not THE most prolific title for Capcom, once the game series made it on to modern era consoles is it really a surprise that it would have a gamer-screwing Achievement in it?

the tenth main entry of the original Mega Man series. The game was released as a downloadable title for the console gaming services WiiWare, PlayStation Network (PSN), and Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) during March 2010.

Mega Man 10 is the direct sequel to Mega Man 9, and the game play takes place in the 21st century, where a a disease called 'Roboenza' has been infecting and disabling robots. That is really bad new for our hero, who you know, is a robot?

The disease eventually causes many of the robots to malfunction, violating the most important law of robotics as their major malfunction causes them to try to take over the world. In a major and largely unexpected twist, the guy who should be the villain - evil scientist Dr. Wily -- actually seeks out Mega Man and asks him to help deal with the outbreak!

And that brings us to our Achievement rage très compliqué induire:

Mr. Perfect (30G)

Clear the game without getting damaged.

If you can try to imagine for a moment a game in which you can actually get damaged without intending to get damaged thanks to no shortage of projectiles, and that does not even begin to take into account the actual combat situations you face, and you can see how this may well fall into the category of Oh-My-God-You've-Got-To-Be-Kidding-Me-No-They-Didn't! class of Achievements.

The thing is, as hard as it is - and it is hard - the experts claim that there is an easy way to unlock this. The word EASY being the clue.

The best advice is to play the game on the Easy Difficulty - because that allows you to save between levels - so that in theory anyway, if you make a mistake on a level, you can always revert back to the save for however far you managed to get without taking any damage.

Even using this almost cheat, it is still a massively frustrating rage-inducing Achievement - no one is saying it is not. Lucky for you - if you decided that this was one of the ones from the list you just have to have - there are plenty of helpful tutorial videos available that can make it less gruesome. Maybe a little less?
