First you turn on your game and ope up the main menu where you see X Group, Solo, Nintendo WFC, Vault, Options, and Data. Click on Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and wait for it to load. Then you click the "With Friends" icon that has a heart on it to the left. Once you're there, you click "Friend Roster" the button to the top right. Then at the tp of the screen you should see your name and your friend code to the right of it.
