How do you make/setup a friend match. Is there a certain thing to do.?

Okay here's what you do if you want to play against your friend(s). Have them get their Super Smash Bros Brawl friendcode by having them log onto WiFi, choose "with friends" and choose "friend roster" and their friendcode should be displayed in a light red box and have them write it down and give it to you. When they give it to you do the exact same things I wrote above and give them your friendcode and on the same page there should be something that lets you add a friendcode so have your friend(s) enter yours and you enter theirs. Then set up a time for all of you to play and again do the things above BUT don't go to "friend roster" Choose "BRAWL" instead and you should end up playing with them. If you want to play against any old person in the world just choose "with anyone" and wait for someone to show up. Hope I helped!

You go into nintendo wi-fi and select to battle with friends. Go into your friend roster and join whatever game your friends are playing if they're online by clicking on their names and pressing join. To set up your own game, press brawl or whatever type of match you want to play with your friends. Make sure your internet connection is good because or else games could MAJORLY lag and you might not be able to connect with friends at all. If you're using wireless internet and you keep getting disconnected, try changing your wireless router to channel 1 or 11 (that fixed my connection problems).

All you do is just check if they are online. Go to "Brawl" and check there. But first make sure you registered your friend code. You can do that by going to the "Friend Roster". Then go to "Register Friend Code" (I think that is what it is called, it's a red button). Place their friend code there. When you check if they are online after going to "Brawl", if they are online, you either start a group, or join their group if they made one. You could try calling each other to tell when to start the group, who joins who's group, when each person is ready, etc. Try doing that, and you should have a Brawl started right away.
