I'm up to the part where I'm standing on the platform connected to the mast of the ship. I'm fighting the giant serpent(after tying down the two on deck) I'm up on the mast of the ship fighting this beast. I kick her ass good weakening her, attaching the ropes and pressing the circle button(the way they indicate) but I cannot get past that. I've played this darn level too many times it's pathetic!! What am I doing wrong? The level before when you have to hold the circle after you attach the ropes I sailed right through. I hold the serpent there for a good while then she smacks me against the post again...darn!
<BR> Anyway, some help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to play God of War 2 someday.

Hi shaggy, This one is easy, if she's slamming you into the mast, then your not tapping O fast enough, What they show in the prompt is a joke, a bad one at that,
You need to machine gun that button, get a game case or a hard cover book and lay it in your lap and when you get to the O prompt lay the controller on what ever mash that O button, it takes 3-4 times to break the mast and 1 more to kill..
