Having difficulty with the mechanised Bull/Minotaur in the Hades Temple. Have followed all the suggested solutions on this page ie give him a good beating then go on to the stage and let him have it with the log when the "o" character appears above his head, it only it seems to knock him back then the actual log smashes into the door above his head before he gets up, frustrating as I spent over an hour on the game last night, just beating him up, have used Poseidons and Zeus's magic to get the white smoke blowing out of his armour, can anyone give me any suggestions? Is this a glitch?

You are getting ahead of yourself. When the "o" appears above his head you do what you would normally do if an "o" appeared above a monsters head i.e. You approach the Minotaur, press the circle button and follow the prompts. When you complete all the prompts Kratos will jump off, this is when you return to the lever and send the log into the beast. Hope this helps.
You don't hit him with the log as soon as you see the o. You have to run up to him and then you enter into a minigame. If you complete it he will freeze and then you can slam him. Also where the smoke is coming out it the next part of his armor that will blow off when the log hits.
Once the circle appears ontop of his head you have to do the mini game and once you have done the mini game you then shoot the log at him.
Listen,just use the online stratedgy guide provided.its on the paga where you can choose the cheats,user submitted cheats,etc.
Your doing it wrong, kick his ass till the "O" pops p above him, then play the minigame, then when hes standing up and dizzy use the fiery log, make sure your quick getting to the platform though or hell wake up and and dodge it,
