Question for God of War

I can't load my saved game of god of war 2 on ps2 it just blanks out as soon as I press r1 at the save altar

When I play GOW 2.I save my game before third battle to Colossus,when I want to load my save game it says- no memory card found in memory card slot 1 or 2. I get out memory card & clean dust I re-insert memory card & my saved game will appear on screen.

Try this trick.
I think it's work.
