I have seen it time and time again, people asking how to enable the special events camera in Sims 2, any expansion pack. Usually the problem is the option is greyed out and cannot be turned on. This does mean, most of the time that a person's PC cannot handle the graphics of the game, but here is what you can do to override this fault:

--I found this override code while re-writing the GraphicsRules.sgr files so I could play at a higher resolution.--

1. Boot up the Sims 2 as normal.
2. Select your neighborhood.
3. While still on the neighborhood screen, bring up the cheat box with ctrl + shift + c.
4. Enter the following into the cheat window exactly as shown:
Boolprop chooseCameraSpecialEventEnabled true
5. Open your options through the "..." button.
6. Click on the camera settings button (looks like a camera).
7. Look at the Special Event Camera option now (first row, second column).
It should be blue and selectable.
8. Turn your camera on and enjoy those special moments with a Sim cinematic!

I hope this helps out anybody still struggling with this old issue, but since I am a bargain shopper I recently picked up The Sims 2. I hope this will help other bargain shopping gamers out there like myself.

Type in boolProp TestingcheatsEnabled true (not caps sensitive). Once you have typed that in the cheat box (crtl+shift+c) then hit enter. Shift+click on a male sim and Spawn....Tombstone Of L and D. Now click on the tombstone which appears (remember you have to be using a male sim for this cheat to work) and press more until you see "Get Pregant" or Set "Pregnancy Relations" when you press one of these...then click (your sim name). You will now here a chime or a sound. That means the sim is now pregnant. Now press on the tombstone again and press....."Speed Up My Pregnancy". It will now only take three HOURS not three DAYS to have the baby. VIOLA! Your male sim will now have a baby! Congratulations! And happy cheating!

Hit ctrl+shift+c to open the cheat box. Now type in FamilyFunds (Family Name) (amount) and then hit enter. The highest money amount is 999,999 (I think). Happy cheating! NOTE: The (family name) is where you actually have to type in the family name...same with the amount of money. :D Enjoy!

To open the cheat menu hit shift, tab and c. When it is open type in the word motherlode or kerching.
Motherlode will give 50,000 simolions
Kerching will only give you 1000 simolieons

To give your sims full health you have to enter the cheat Move_objects on. Then you go into bye mode and click on the sim you want to give full health. You then delete your sim and exit the lot when you go back in to the lot your sim will be there with full heath. If you want to play the game without that sim for a while cos yoyu want a partener to have an affair with someone from the house and don't want to wait for the other sim to go to work then you jut don't leave the lot and that sim wont be there untill you leave and come in again. You can leave the game alltogether and come back and the sim will be there.

Save the game before you delete them or you will lose all pionts they get between then and the last time you save.

Press control shift c and type in Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true ,Exactly as you see it. Then if you are in Create a sim mode press shift n and a box will come up saying you can use the maxis crap. You can be grim, hula grim, invisible body, skeleton, all of the work outfits an the social bunny. There is also a lot more. If you are in sim mode press shift and click on any sim you have. More options will come up than usual. You can do that to almost anything! If you have a tombstone you can make an option to walk like a ghost! That truly is the best cheat ever.

To get an extra fifty thousand dollars, make sure your in a house with a family,
Then press Shift, Ctrl, and then C. Press seperatley like
In that order exept hold them down. Shift (hold down) > Ctrl (hold down) > c (hold down).A small screen should show up. Once you've done that, tipe in motherlode, as many times as you want. Every time you do, it gives that family fifty thousand dollars. To close that small screen type in exit, and you're good!

So you do the usual in the neighbourhood you press ctrl+shift+C then type in Boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled True
Then go into a household with sims in it. Hold shift and click on the letterbox there is so much you can do you can make all your sims motives go up (household.... Make all happy) you can make friends for your sim (neighborhood... Make friends for me) or make your sim know every sim in the nieghborhood (neighbourhood......make me know everybody) you can make people and NPC's walk by (streaker too) and so much more you can click on other sims (always holding shift) and click on !make sim my contact! To make them your friend.... So go explore!

Speed up Pregnancy/Twins-
Okay so when your in your selected neighbourhood bring up the cheat bar (Ctrl Shift C) and type in- boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
Enter then go to whatever family you want.Once it's loaded select your pregnant sim (to play as!) and hold down shift and click on your sim.Go to more.. And then Spawn and click on Tombstone Of L and D.
A tombstone should appear by your sim, click it go to more and click on
'Speed Up My Pregnancy' or 'Force Twins' after clicking Speed Up My Pregnancy
Hit 3 on your keyboard.After about a sim hour your sim should give birth.

High Job Levels-
So Let's say your sim has just started the long road the the top of it's career and your thinking 'Hang on I'm not doing all that it'll take ages!'
You don't have to anymore.Firstly bring up the cheat box in your neighbourhood
And type in your new friend- boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
Enter then go to your pending household.Select your sim with the new career and
Set the time going.Hold down shift and click on the newspaper when it arrives.
:) look at all that then it's obvious now isn't it!.so when you've clicked Set
Job Level or Level something you can choose what level you want your sims career
On!.

Maxing your relationship bars does not automatically create friends but it will allow you to make friends faster. After maxing out a sim's friendship status..the next action with them will make them your best friend.

You can also SHIFT + CLICK on a visiting sim, choose MAKE SELECTABLE, go into their relationship section and max out their friendship status with you. Do this with male and female sim's and they may fall in love right away (after interacting).

Type control, shift, c, as other people have said, and then type 'help' (without quotation marks). This gets up a list of quite a few cheats. By the way, the forcetwins cheat only works if your sim is pregnant. Enjoy!

Can anyone help me get twins I have tried the forcetwins, twinzr2cute, and twinsr2cute but they don't work and I don't know how to get the cheesecake can someone please help me!!!

First of all you need to bring up the cheat box (Ctrl+Shift+c), then type in familyfunds (space) last name of family (space) how much money needed (up to $9,999,999)

DO NOT TYPE IN "LAST NAME OF FAMILY", what I meant was, say my families last name is Smith, I would type in, "familyfunds smith $9,999,999" (no commas)

Okay so instead of waiting 3 whole days for the baby to come how about this?
Open up cheat box and type in BoolProp testingCheatsEnabled true then hold down shift and click on any sim on you're lot,then a whole list of options will appear choose Tombstone L and D when you do that the tombstone will appear,click on it.
Now remember you have to be already pregnany but not have you're maternity outfit yet basically no sign the you are pregnant.So anyways click on the tombstone and a list of options come up at the top if the list click more... And at the bottom of that list it will say "Speed up my Pregnancy"click that and that ame day you will go through three stages of growing you're belly and having the baby all in one day!

Well first to reach the top level you open up the cheat box(CTR-SHIFT-C)

Even the person who was supposidely trying to tell us the spelling wasn't right. 2. Hold down shift and click on the baby (you can be any person in the household)

3. Choose make SELECTABLE. The baby's picture on the left side of the screen should disapear.

5. Now you should be able to look at the baby's needs, relationships, and personality. (they don't have any wants or fears untill they are toddlers)

First of all, that's the real spelling. But mainly, you can drag almost everything up with the cheat Boolrpop Testingcheatsenabled true. Almost everyone knows you can drag your sims skills up, but that's not all! You can drag their needs, likes, and PERSONALITY up!!!!! Just hold down shift and drag it up. THE COOLEST PART IS THAT YOU CAN DRAG THEIR RELATIONSHIPS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IMPORTANT: To be able to do this with the cheat you have to enter it in the cheat console when your in the neighborhood. Also when dragging you MUST hold down shift.

Money, Money, Money
When playing press ctrl shif and c (again) then put in either:
Motherlode= $50,000
Katching= $1,000
Afer entering press, well, enter. If you want to do it faster playing press ctrl shif and c (again) then press down it should come up with the cheat you just entered! It saves time and efort great for lazy people!!!!

Once you have enterd motherlode press up then enter every. Time you press up and enter you get $50,000.

Press alt and c to bring up a cheat menu while playing:

Then type kaching and press enter.

You will have gained 1000£

To exit the cheat menu type exit then press enter.

Hi, i'm sure we are all familiar with the move_objects on cheat by now (enables you to move and delete some things which cannot be moved otherwise). First, do NOT delete your sims, because instead of getting a moodboost (like on sims 1) they will disappear and NOT COME BACK. By the way if there are some unprepared ingredients on the floor, click on them about 20 times and eventually it will let you pick up and delete them. By the way you can't delete plates, with or without food on.

Things you CAN delete with move_objects on
Coffee cups
Baby bottles
Sims (don't do it unless you want to permanently delete the sim)
Objects that a sim is using (don't delete a shower/bath/hot tub while sims are in them because it is likely to delete the sim as well)
Unprepared ingredients
NPCs (Non-playable characters such as the paper boy/girl or the fireman)

Things you CAN'T delete with move_objects on
Dinner/dessert plates (with or without food)
Servings (you know the big bowl of food that sims can Grab A Plate or Grab a Bowl from)
TV Dinners

Ok this is getting a bit tedious with the amount of wrongly spelt boolProp cheats. This is the official one:

BoolProp Testingcheatsenabled true

To do this press Shift + Ctrl + C to open the cheat box and type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Buy a telescope and hold shift and click on it, you should see DEBUG - Be abducted, click it, your character will gaze and then be abducted they will come back in a few hours.

Note: This is a good way of abduction for the knowledge aspiration
Note: Once you have done this once a want will come up saying you need to visit aliens 5 times, once done you get 25,000 points. COOOOOOL!!!!!!

Hold down ctrl,shift and c at the same time and a white box should appear at the top left corner of your screen.

Type in Kaching to get 1,000 simoleans (sorry if spelt wrong)
Type in Motherlode to get 50,000 simoleans.
