How do you get preteens to have a hobby in sims freeplay really I want to know

You probably have to unlock the school first, which is next to the arena

You have to build a sports center which is on your far right of the fire station

I bought it and now my preteen is a ballerina they can do ballet or do karate right nowmy preteen is in intermediate ballet

Build the sports center.
Go to the sports center.
Click on it.
Then click on the SimTracker
Find your pre-teen
Tap the call button (looks like a whistle)
Tap on the block on the ballet side or karate side

So when I go to the sports place it doesn't allow me to "call" them over...any one else have this problem? I've tried to click on the sim and go to hobbies and create one and it won't let me do it that way either! Grrr! Any help?

You have to build the ballet building and then click on the karate items or dancing items

1. Buy the Sports center (far top left)
2. Go to the sports center.
3. Call your preteen.
4. Click on the dummy on the left side to have karate as your hobby. Note #1
5. Or click the disk player on the right side to have ballet as your hobby. Note #2

Note 1: you can also do a karate chop at the far left end.

Note 2: You can do barre Streches, tap on the wooden bars.

IMPORTANT: if you have a hobby (this only works for preteens) and want to switch to the other one, you can. Say if you were a Level 4 in karate and wanted to be in ballet. You could switch to ballet then back to karate and still be where you last left off.

You don't have to build any buildings once you have a certain amount of neighbour's and you can find plenty on facebook by searching for sims players go to buy under featured or hobby and the free record player allows your teen to practice ballet and theres a punch bag for karate

So and about the enrolling in school how do you boost the grades

You get the sports center then you have a choice of ballet or karate

You have 2 unlock somthing but I forget the name but it's near the
Lake and go to the right

The sports centre, ballet or karate. My female sim, Lisa Redman, is a black belt in karate, one of my males, George Redman, is a red belt and my other male is a beginner in ballet. They have won, over all, 12gold medals, 9bronze medals, 19silver medals and 34trophies. I am pleased with it and I hope this helped xx
