Ok so I heard about people getting different animals in addition to you're cat and dog. I'm already too late to get a racoon :( I'm in chapter 2 year 2. I just wanted to kno all of the animals that are available, and how to get them.
 
 I do kno these are available...if anyone knows how to get them that would be great:
 -owl -lizard -chihauhua(i don't know how to spell it)

-Small Bird (Not owl): Befriend everyone in town.

-Lizard: Befriend Mukumuku and Daryl. Note: I don't know if you can actually get the lizard

-Chihuahua: Befriend Carter and (I think) Flora.

-Racoon: Befriend Vesta.

-Cat: Befriend Romana Hope I helped!

Natume said you can only get the dog and cat (you get the cat from Romana). You can't get the lizard, bird/owl, turtle, raccoon or chihuahua...they are all lies/rumors. Ask for proof if someone tells you they got one of these "pets"...there are no pictures or video because you can't get them. I am posting this everywhere I can because I too believed you could get the chihuahua since this "proof" was in many faqs.

You have to befriend Carter and usually Flora just kind of goes along with Carter to get the chihuahua (you almost spelled 'chihuahua' correctly

) but just read the rest of the answers to find out the rest because frankly I don't like typing on IPads! Lata
