I've heard that there are very few festivals throughout the year, you just have to keep an eye on your calendar to see when (I've never seen any)

They're not on your calender.
Starry Night Festival
Winter 24 at Gustafa's hut at night (after he goes back inside)
Characters involved- Gustafa and several others
Description- He will play his guitar for all to hear.

Summer Music Festival
Summer 1 at Gustafa's hut enter from 10 am - 11 am
Characters involved- Gustafa and several others
Description-This is the same thing as the Starry Night Festival.

New Year's Party
Spring 1 at Romana's mansion, 11am-1pm
Characters involved- Patrick, Murrey, Rock, Van, and several others
Description- All you will do is mingle with others.

Harvest Festival
Fall 5 at Blue Bar, early afternoon
Characters involved- Celia, Ruby, Griffin, Marlin, Vesta
Description- In this event you will just eat fruits and vegetables
Grown by Vesta but cooked by Ruby.
