Go across the bridge talk to the people next to the fruit, he will sell you seeds but it matters what season you are in.
Then plant the seeds in the garden farthest from your house. You will need to get the ho out from the tool shed.
Water the seeds every day for fruits.
P.S. You water with the watering can.

You can't buy food, however you can pick wild grass every day.
It normaly looks like weeds or mushrooms.
