Do Female cows have to get pregnant before giving milk and if so how do I sell them after they stop giving milk?

Yes, and to sell an animal you go to the tall rectangle building (across from the barn) and go to the order screen. At the vert bottom their will be a button separated from the rest. Click it. Then select the animal you want to sell.

You don't have to sell your cow. If the cow stops giving milk use the Miracle Potion. And once it gives birth it will milk again after the calf is old enough to leave it's hutch. At the beginning Takakura says that the cow gave birth to a cow so that's why you can milk it.Also if you sell your cow and buy another female cow the cow won't be able to be milked until after it gives birth.

NO they do NOT have to give birth to be milked. I waited a long time becuz I got a star cow and a baby cow (long story) and they didnt milk because they were too small. So basically, you have to wait until it gets really big like a regular full grown one. BTW, it is really hard to tell bcuz at the 1 b4 last stage of "bigness", it looks like it's full big but really, it's like a couple pixels smaller X3. If you look closely youll tell. You sell animals at tall rectangle dull grey building where you can also ship and order stuff
