Did you use gameshark codes and suddenly lost all TM's in your case?? Got unlimited RARE CANDIES using a code and now no TM's will appear in your case?? HERE IS HOW TO FIX IT!!! First you must store at least 1 RARE CANDY in your pc storage at Pokemon centre and then TOSS the rest from your bag (VERY IMPORTANT!!!), then use the gameshark codes for all TM's (your old TM's WILL NOT come back!)
Master code :
72BC6DFB E9CA5465
A47FB2DC 1AF3CA86
8D671FD9 6F6BEFF2
78DA95DF 44018CB4
28F71F08 ABB36538
69BA4F26 72716663
TM code :
2968A1C2 61693B12
67597D96 A3432FF0
1C91630E C663E711
90C79726 DF1345DA
3988A35F 80B8599D
1E27D83B BBFB6923
After putting in the codes, check your bag, they should be in there YAY! Now, remove the TM's code from the list but leave the master code on BUT uncheck the boxes to disable it, go to pc storage and withdraw your rare candies, exit the Pokemon centre, now re-enable the master code given, you should now have all tm's and unlimited rare candies, have fun!
For the first trainer an electric Pokemon, the second water, psychic, the third ice or dragon, the best four the rival electric, water, psychic, rock, and depending on the Pokemon that your rival had as his starter Pokemon blastoise=grass Charizard=water venisar=fire
Hope this Helps
Note: This hint is designed for the first time you face the Elite 4 and not afterwards.
The first thing you will need to understand is that accuracy is everything. You will want to be using attacks with a high acuracy and a high PP, this first step is so simple anyone can accomplish it.
For example: those people who say to use thunder are far less likely to win than those who will tell you to use thunderbolt. This is for a very simple reason; the extra 30 power is not worth the huge drop in accuracy and as long as you set up some good stat boosts the difference is irrelevant anyway.
Below is the ideal team for taking on the Elite 4 without using the legendary Pokemon and below it is a simple overveiw of the attacks to use.
(All of these Pokemon should be between level 50 and 61 which is easily accomplished by grinding a little with the VS seeker found in the Vermillion Pokemon centre)
1. Venusaur
Sleep Powder, Razor Leaf, Sludge Bomb, Earthquake
2. Alakazam
Psychic, Calm Mind, Shock Wave, Toxic
3. Raichu
Thunderbolt, Facade, Double Team, Thunder Wave
4. Snorlax
Body Slam, Shadow Ball, Brick Break, Rock Slide
5. Dragonite
Flamethrower, Outrage, Fly, Return
6. Poliwrath
Surf, Strength, Bulk Up, Brick Break
(Items are entirely picked on each trainer's preference, I equip; Miracle Seed, Focus Band, Leftovers, Quick Claw, Focus Band, Leftovers consecutively)
In order to face the Elite 4 the team you use needs to be fully healed, I advise carrying a strong pair of items; revive and full restore , though expensive, have saved me several times and are always useful in a tricky situation.
The first opponent is Lorelei and is an Ice type trainer, she carries a couple of very nasty Pokemon with her.
Pokemon: Dewgong lv. 52, Slowbro lv. 52, Lapras lv. 54, Cloyster lv. 51, Jynx lv. 54
How to prevail: Raichu is always best here due to the water based team; in order to gain the best results I advise starting off with a thunder wave and 3 double teams (less if she has landed a couple of hits) this will make Raichu very hard to hit for the remainder of the match, after this setup spam thunderbolt until you see Lorelei is about to bring out her Jynx, when this happens swap out for Dragonite and use flamethrower for an easy win and switch back to Raichu to continue your thunderbolt spam. (Against Lapras it is advisable to set up Thunderwave and another double team if at all possible.)
Use any revives and full restores needed.
The second opponent is Bruno who holds rock and fighting Pokemon, he should be very, very simple with this team.
Pokemon: Onix lv. 51, Hitmonchan lv. 53, Hitmonlee lv. 53, Machamp lv. 56, Onix lv. 54
How to Prevail: To defeat the 2 Onix use your Venusaur's Earthquake for an easy win and taking very little damage if he lands a hit, for the three fighting types use Alakazam, set up two calm minds and proceed to destroy all 3 of them with psychic.
Use any revives and full restores needed.
The third opponent is Agatha and trains ghost and poison Pokemon, she will fall easily to good strategy.
Pokemon: Gengar lv. 54, Golbat lv. 54, Arbok lv. 56, Gengar lv. 58, Haunter lv. 53
How to prevail: to defeat her first Gengar use Snorlax, it's shadow ball will be super effective and Snorlax has huge health and defence, against the golbat or Arbok (whichever comes first) use Alakazam, set up 2 calm minds and proceed to spam psychic to destroy all of the rest of her Pokemon for an easy win.
Use any revives and full restores needed.
The fourth opponent is Lance and has Dragon Pokemon, a tricky fight but with a little luck very easy and with a good strategy and this team; no problem.
Pokemon: Gyarados lv. 56, Aerodactyl lv. 58, Dragonair lv. 54, Dragonair lv. 54, Dragonite lv. 60
How to prevail: Use Raichu and thunderbolt on both Gyarados and Aerodactyl (it is a common mistake that rock Pokemon are resistant to Electric, it is ground which is immune not rock so aerodactly takes a VERY nasty hit from thunderbolt due to being part flying) in order to defeat the 3 dragons you will want to use Dragonite (he learns outrage at level 61 in this game so if he is not strong enough yet use dragon claw instead) use outrage, if you are lucky it will hit 3 times, if not only twice but do not despair, summon snorlax to tank through it with body slam or use a full restore.
Use any revives and full restores needed.
The fifth opponent is your rival and is relatively simple to defeat with this team, he uses a selection of Pokemon and it changes with each starter however if you have Venusaur as I suggest he will be using;
Pokemon: Pidgeot lv. 61, Rhydon lv. 61, Alakazam lv. 59, Charizard lv. 65, Gyrados lv. 63, Exeggutor lv. 63
How to Prevail: He will start, as he always has, with Pidgeot, for this use Snorlax and attack with Rock Slide, when he summons Rhydon switch to Poliwrath or Venusaur and use Surf or Earthquake (though I suggest surf), against Alakazam use Snorlax and attack with Shadow Ball for a very quick win due to Alakazam's abismal defence, Against Charizard I suggest using Snorlax again as rock slide will wipe it out in one, for Gyarados I, as earlier, suggest thunderbolt from Raichu or if he has no PP left then use shock wave from Alakazam, finally to defeat exeggutor I suggest Dragonite as you can then spam either flamethrower or Fly (in the unlikely event of Dragonite's failure then Snorlax's Shadow ball will be equally effective or Alakazam can set up a toxic stall for you to heal Snorlax or Dragonite before use).
You have successfully defeated the Pokemon Leaf Green/Fire Red Elite 4 and can move onto the exploration of the Sevii Islands.
The Suggested Pokemon are not set by any degree and are very inter-changeable with other Pokemon. Poliwrath is lesser used and can easily be switched out for Starmie or Lapras if either is Prefered. Alakazam can be switched out with either Hypno or Gengar for higher defensive qualities. Raichu is very highly used but if you prefer then Electabuzz will have similar results but a more offensive moveset over the Stall moveset I suggest for Raichu. I suggest using Snorlax and Dragonite regardless of the other possibilities due to their huge physical attack and HP though if you choose Charizard as your starter then I suggest giving Dragonite Ice Beam over Flamethrower and if you have a wish to use a different Pokemon to Snorlax then Kengaskhan can be just as good though it has lower HP and attack but higher Defense and slightly better speed.
I hope this helped you to defeat the league in Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green and I would like to give a thank you to Volke whose 1st gen overveiw gave me the base of my movesets for the team.
All of the items and TM's I suggest are obtainable with a single copy of the game however Alakazam requires trading to obtain so if you do not have another copy or a friend to trade with then I suggest Hypno instead. Also, Facade and Sludge Bomb are not obtainable as TMs until after you reach the Sevii Islands but neither played a part in this overveiw so it's importance is not too great, I suggest filling the spaces on each Pokemon as follows; Facade with Iron Tail and Sludge Bomb with Leech Seed or Giga Drain. You will need two copies of TM31 (Brick Break), 1 is obtainable aboard the S.S.Anne and the other can be bought in Celadon, you will also need 9500 game corner coins for shadow ball, flamethrower and the miracle seed. You will also need to visit the move tutor in the Rock Tunnel for rock slide and obtain the itemfinder for the two leftovers. The focus band is held by wild Machoke which you will need to catch or use snatch to obtain the item. Finally the Quick Claw is found in the Safari Zone in Fuschia City.
Hope I Helped.
If you catch loads of chansey from the safari zone you could end up with one of the having something called a Lucky Egg.
A Lucky Egg is something that gives your Pokemon up to 10000 exp and could easily get your Pokemon to level 100
THE ELITE FOUR:
CHALLENGE 1:
LEADER: Lorelei
Pokemon TYPE: Ice
Pokemon: Dewgong lv. 52 ; Slowbro lv. 52 ; Lapras lv. 54 ; Cloyster lv. 51 ; Jynx lv. 54
HOW TO WIN: Zapdos is the Pokemon to use here. Use thunder on Dewgong, thunder on slowbro, thunderbolt twice on Lapras, thunder on Cloyster, then switch to Moltres (or Charizard if you have him) and use flamethrower on Jynx. When you win, you get a little over $10,000 for winning. Then move on to Bruno after you do necessary healing, switching etc. Switch your leader to Dragonite then head on to Bruno's room.
CHALLENGE 2:
LEADER: Bruno
Pokemon TYPE: Rock/Fighting
Pokemon: Onix lv. 51 ; Hitmonchan lv. 53 ; Hitmonlee lv. 53 ; Machamp lv. 56 ; Onix lv. 54
HOW TO WIN: Using your Dragonite, surf on both onixes, they will go down in 1 shot. Use wing attack on the remaining 3 pokemon. Machamp will require 2 wing attacks. You will get your money after defeating Bruno. Use necessary potions and put Alakazam in the leader slot.
CHALLENGE 3:
LEADER: Agatha
Pokemon TYPE: Ghost/Poison
Pokemon: Gengar lv. 54 ; Golbat lv. 54 ; Arbok lv. 56 ; Gengar lv. 58 ; Haunter lv. 53
HOW TO WIN: Use psychic on the Gengars and Haunter. Don't even mess around with the Golbat and Arbok. Use Zapdos's thunder on them to kill them in one shot. They can poison you and that's not good at all. Use necessary potions and switch your leader to Zapdos.
CHALLENGE 4:
LEADER: Lance
Pokemon TYPE: Dragon
Pokemon: Gyrados lv. 56 ; Aerodactyl lv. 58 ; Dragonair lv. 54 ; Dragonair lv. 54 ; Dragonite lv. 60
HOW TO WIN: This guy is hard. Kill his Gyrados in 1 shot with a thunder from Zapdos. Kill his Aerodactyl by using Kadabra/Alakazam's shadow ball until Aerodactyl is at about half life. Then use Psychic and he should be through. I don't know what to say about the Dragon types, but to use brute force and knock them down little by little. Don't use a fire type for the dragonairs because they know surf. But I suggest using a hyper beam when you get the Dragonite down to half life. You should be able to get by with thunderbolts and thunders on the Dragonairs. Lance will admit defeat and almost crown you Pokemon League Champion. Then he mentions that someone did it before you and his name is GARY! You're not done yet, you have one more challenge. Use potions as needed and prepare yourself for the hardest battle yet.
CHALLENGE 5:
LEADER: Gary
Pokemon TYPE: All/Against you
Pokemon: Pidgeot lv. 61 ; Rhydon lv. 61 ; Alakazam lv. 59 ;
IF YOU HAVE A CHARIZARD: Blastoise lv. 65 ; Exeggutor lv. 63 ; Arcanine lv. 61
IF YOU HAVE A BLASTOISE: Venusaur lv. 65 ; Gyrados lv. 61 ; Arcanine lv. 63
IF YOU HAVE A VENUSAUR: Charizard lv. 65 ; Gyrados lv. 63 ; Exeggutor lv. 63
HOW TO WIN: Thunder his Pidgeot, Surf his Rhydon, Flamethrower his Alakazam. Here's where your birds take a huge role. If you have a Venusaur, send out either Dragonite or Articuno and water down that Charizard. If you have a Blastoise, get out your Moltres and use the most powerful fire attack you have on the Venusaur. If you have a Charizard, get out your Zapdos and use thunder on the Blastose. Use a fire attack on Exeggutor and your special attack on Arcanine after it's life is below 3/4.
5 rare candy locations,
Behind the house in Cerulean City.
Mt. Moon
Rocket game corner
Ghost tower
Behind the boulder in the Safari Zone's Warden's House.
Also, use meowth or something with pickup and hope to be lucky.
Hope this helps!
National Dex:
Have over sixty Pokemon in your Pokedex and defeat the Elite Four. Return to Pallet Town and see the professor. He will give the National Dex to Gary and yourself. You can use it to see the data for all 386 Pokemon.
Use the following trick to get the National Pokedex before defeating the Elite 4. Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire and an already completed game of Fire Red or Leaf Green is required. Trade a Pokemon that does not appear in Fire Red or Leaf Green into the completed version. Then, use the wireless link to send the new Pokemon into the incomplete game.
Aurora Ticket/Deoxys:
Download the Aurora Ticket at Nintendo Events to be able to go to Birth Island to get Deoxy.
When you get your first Pokemon pick bulbasuar so that way you will have the advantge againest the first 2 gym leaders. If you pick charamander you will have the disadvantge againest Brock and Misty. If you pick squirtle you will have the advantge againest Brock but not Misty, Surge, or the Celadon city gym leader.
I hope this helps alot.:]
A good place to train is KINDLE ROAD in one island.Battle the fighting type trainers it is sure to give you a good amount of EXP.points.Just keep using the vs.seeker.
You can get loads of money by giving an Amulet Coin to your first Pokemon. Then, after beating the Elite 4 and completing the Celio mission, go to Five Island. Go surf up to Resort Gorgeous. Go right and go to the bigger island. Go to the extreme left. Fight Lady Jacki. She has a Lv.48 Hoppip and a Lv.50 Skiploom. Beat her with a Flying or Fire type then she will give you $20,000 if you gave your first Pokemon the Amulet Coin. You can use the VS Seeker and keep challenging her to get loads of cash! I got $500,000 through this method!
After beating the Elite 4 and do the Celio mission, go to Five Island and surf up to Resort Gorgeous. Go right and into the lost cave. Save Lady Selphy and after that, go see her in her house. She will say she is bored and will request to see a Pokemon. Go back to Five Island and get that Pokemon from the PC and put it into your party. Go back to her house and she will get her butler to reward you. He will give you: Luxury Ball, Nugget, Pearl, Big Pearl, Stardust, Star Piece and Rare Candy. The hardest items to find that she'll give you are the Luxury Ball and the Rare Candy. The others you can sell for tons of money. I got 20 Luxury Balls, 2 Rare Candies and $10,000 worth of sold items.
1. Lower it's HP. The less HP it has, the better.
2. Make the it Fall Asleep.
3. Throw Ultra Balls at it.
4. If it awakens, make it fall back asleep and continue to through Ultra Balls.
I think route 6 is the best route for training Pokemon (before and after elite 4). It trains all types (but bugs). I have a pikachu, well had one caught it level 3 now it's a riachu (I have the riachu but not the pikachu, it's why I said "had").
It's Lv.100 and it's stats are attack 196 defense 150 sp.atk 249 sp.def 204 and speed 243 it's female with HP 241. It's stronger than my charizard (Lv.46 Male) The route best trains electrics. Because there are a load of fling types (why you can train bugs). I pass it on from me to you. Happy training. Also exspect more from me I know my pokemon.
These are the best attacks I prefer for each type
PSYCHIC : psychic/dream eater(dream eater if you have hypnosis.)
GHOST : shadow ball
POISON : sludge bomb
ELECTRIC : thunderbolt/thunder(thunder if you have rain dance)
ICE : ice beam
FIRE : flame thrower
ROCK : rock slide
NORMAL : hyper beam/giga impact/strength(many people would prefer return for their Pokemon but these moves are my opinions.)
DARK : crunch
DRAGON : dragon claw/outrage(dragon claw would be better as outrage causes confusion after 2 to 3 turns.)
FLYING : drill peck/aerial ace
WATER : hydro pump/surf
GRASS : leaf blade/solar beam (solar beam is okay only if the Pokemon has sunny day.)
BUG : mega horn
GROUND : earthquake
STEEL : iron tail/meteor mash/steel wing
FIGHTING : cross chop/counter/dynamic punch (dynamic punch may have low accuracy but it confuses the enemy.)
THANK YOU. Karthik99
An easy way to catch a drinati is to go to the safari zone and go to the top right zone and use a super rod to fish for drinati but fishing is one thing to do that doent take steps to do you keep fishing wile surfing for good results
You don't need rock smash to get Mewtwo. All you need is surf, a Pokemon that can freeze, Paralyze, or sleep Mewtwo. And patience. (or a masterball) and access to Cerulean cave.

While I was sleeping I gained exp for my Pokemon arcaine. It started out as a level 30 and now it's a level 42. I put him in the day care and went to the rocket hide out in cleadon city. What I did was step on those arrow tiles that make you move to a stoping area. I weighed the button down that makes me walk to the arrow tha sends me backwards to the stop post. For every step I took it gave arcanie 1 exp. This trick works better if you have more room to walk.
Hope I helped
