Easy Way To Level Up Your Pokemon

Unrated
Verified by: Unverified
Bogus Report: exploding typhoon

Start off by leaving the Pokemon you want at the Daycare Center.
Next, make sure you have the Acro Bike. Head To Route 111 and find the place you need a Mach Bike to ride up. Since you have the Acro Bike, everytime you try to ride up it you slide back down before you reach the top.

Stand right in front of it and put some kind of weight on the Up button and leave it on over night while riding the Acro Bike.
Because the Up button is being pressed constantly, you keep going up and down, again and again. And since you have no service in the desert, you wont have to worry about anybody calling you!

In both games you only have the choice of 3 Pokemon but if you catch the most valued Pokemon of them all at viridian forest(pikachu)and raise it as your starter it will be exepted as so because it can learn volt tackle from the old lady but your real starter still makes you have that whole decision thing with the legendary dogs.
I hope that this helped at least one of you.

Good training

Bogus Report: exploding typhoon

After you have defeated the Elite 4 and colected at least 60 different Pokemon
You need to talk to prof.Oak. When you do he will give you a rainbow pass alowing you to go to the Sevii islands.

Once you get this you need to go to 7 Island and start heading south.

There will be alot of trainers but there are 2 who give you a great amount of Exp in every battle.

You will first cross over the bridge and there will be a grassy area.
There are 2 pokerangers there battle them and then continue on.

Once past them you will need to go up the steps, at this point there will be 2 more pokerangers. Battle them and keep moveing.

Once past this you will see a rock use rock smash on this and then move up the steps on the other side.

At the top of the steps you will see a man dressed as a blackbelt trainer, but he will not battle you. Keep moving until you see 2 more pokerangers standing side by side.

These two are the ones you want to battle.
But more specificly just the girl.

She has a chansy and it's very strong.

Defeat these two and then go forward more you will go down another set of steps and you will see a house go into the house and talk to the man inside, he will then heal you with the chansy dance.

Once this is done go back to the girl with the chansy and use the Vs seeker to battle her again. Repeat this until you are at your desire level.

Chansey

Bogus Report:

At the Safari Zone, there is an area of grass where I found 7 Chanseys in one Safari visit. To get to it you have to go through the path to the right once you enter. Then loop all the way around and go through the other path. Then you go up the second set of stairs that you come across while walking left. Go down the stairs and (If you have surf) surf across one of the two water rectangles. If you don't have surf then just follow th path and you will come to a big patch of grass in the corner. That is where I found 7 Chanseys and 2 Tauros.

Hope I Helped.

Some suggestions for Pokemon in your team are for a water type have poliwrath, for a psychic type hypno for a powerfull Pokemon dragonite and nidoking for an electric type zapdos for a starter I would choose charmander because even though he isnt very good against the first two gym leaders you can use metal claw against brocks Pokemon because steel is effective against rock and catch a nidoran before entering the cave after brock then train him up to 22 to evolve into nidorino then use a moonstone before lvling him up to 23 and nidoking will learn thrash and you can use that against misty trust me it works and then I know a easy and succesfull way to train charmander/charmeleon/charizard fight the guy with the 2 magnemites and the magneton over and over you will get good money and xp for Pokemon that are good against steel wich in the team I just explained to you everyone should be able to train against them also after you get further in the game they will lvl up to 28 and become 3 magnetons you can get all your Pokemon to lvl 60 before fighting the Pokemon league or even giavoni .

Bogus Report:

This is a tip for a good team for a firered and how to get them......

Charmander then raise it up to charizard
Catch a mankey then raise it into a primeape
Catcatch a pikachu although you will not be keeping it throughout it will help against misty's gym
Get an eevee but don't evolve it yet catch a ditto then put them both in the daycare walk around for 5-10 minutes then there shud be an egg do thiss till have 3 eevee's then evolve them into jolteon vaporeon and flareon I would suggest keeping the vaporeon in your team unless somone trades you a blastoise
Catch a magnemite or magneton then raise it up to lvl 50 get in front of zapdos then save after you have saved battle it with the magnemite/magneton but use ultra balls do this until you catch it since the magnemite/magneton is steel/electric zapdos's electric attacks wnt effect much zapdos will be alot of help against the elite four
Catch a drowzee then evolve it into hypno trust me hypno is very powerfull he is one of the most trustworthy in a battle also hell help against koga
Catch a nidoran I would suggest you catch a male then raise it up to a nidoking which is quite powerfull lastly
The sixth Pokemon in your team can be one of your own personal choice

for your intrests...

Bogus Report:

Just so you all know, traded Pokemon get around 50% more exp. Then normal Pokemon, so get one, and if you have an AR give it the pkRS virus and it'll gain 50% MORE exp. Giving 200% more exp. Than normal Pokemon you catch yourself. So then you give it the macho brace. The point of the macho brace is to cut the amount of exp gained so you have to battle more and that gives your pkmn more EVs (effort values) which seperate the ridiculously powerful from the powerful. Like a traded mewtwo w/ the pkRS virus will get normal exp. And it'll gain more stat points to make it stronger (if you really want to get it's sp.atk jacked up, then trade it to ruby/sapphire and mix records w/your friend and make sure he has 6 raichus because the give 3 sp.atk evs per 10 raichus so battle often) thats just an example tho

Masterballs
Potions (Any kind)
Always save before Legendarys
Timerballs
Lv.= Level

Mewtwo-Lv 70 I recommend you use your Masterball on it, because it knows Recover, which can be a pain for Weakining it. If your not using your master ball use a Pokemon who can take hits (Like a Snorlax) and keep hurling ultra balls after 40 ultra balls I reccomend you use a Timer Ball and timerballs act as Masterballs after 40 turns.

Zapdos-Lv.50 (Dont use your masterball) Again, take a Pokemon that can take hard hits like Snorlax. But it's probaly best to use a Graveler or Golem. Weaken it with your snorlax or Golem. Ultra balls work best.

Articuno-L.50 (Dont use your masterball) Golem will dominate! (Graveler is fine too)
But try to use a move like double edge so you wont KO it. Ultra balls work best again.

Moltres-Lv.50 (Dont use your Masterball) Golem/Graveler will still DOMINATE! Use double edge or something so you wont KO it in one hit. Still Ultra balls work!

Probaly best to have a team like this when you battling the Legendarys.
Golem/Gravler Lv.?
Snorlax Lv.?
(Starter) Lv.?
Optinal
Optinal
Optinal

I put the Lv.? There because I don't no what level is good for them but I reccommend 50 or higher. Your welcome for this awesome hint!

old lady on 2 island

Bogus Report:

She will teach ONLY venusaur, charizard, or blastoise a hyperbeam like move
VENUSAUR: Frenzy Plant
CHARIZARD: Blast Burn
BLASTOISE: Hydro Cannon
Now she will only teach it to your starter if it loves you fully (you can test this by giving it an Item and if it grows 3 times when the item is used and you hear it's cry, then it loves you fully). She will not teach it to any starter you didn't receive from Prof. Oak. And if you do trade your original starter and trade it back she wont teach it to your starter.

To be safe, train your starter through all levels and all evolutions. By level 36 your fully evolved starter should have full love for you, but DO NOT TRADE IT!!!!! THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.

some stuff you may want to know...or not.

Unrated
Verified by: exploding typhoon
Bogus Report:

1.) Ok if the chance of finding a shiny Pokemon is 1 out of 8,738, then even if you went and found 8,737 Pokemon, the last Pokemon you find will still have a 8,738 chance of finding a shiny, in otherwords, the chances will not fluctuate, or change no matter how many Pokemon you encounter. If you do find one, lucky you, just don't put it in the cheats section, because we really don't care in that section.

2.) Hidden power is not a normal attack and no it does not work like a normal move. It is more like curse's type, the ??? Type because it's power can be fire and if your ninetails, for instance uses it then it will be like ninetail's ember, but a little stronger. With some pkmn it's easy to tell what hidden powers type is. Like if ninetails hidden power was super effective vs. Scizor then b/c scizor is only weak against fire then we know that hidden power's type was fire. But if it hits like an onix and is super effective then it has many possibilities like water, grass, steel, or fighting. But if it does nothing to a steel type we know it's poison because poison can't hurt steel at all. Or if it hits ghost and does nothing it could be normal or fighting. Because it is always changing, you can't always know, unless it's obvious like scizor v. Ninetails.

3.) Shiny Pokemon are rare as we all know. But did you know that every shiny Pokemon you catch will have the exact same nature as the first one you caught.
The genetics of Pokemon are complex but heres a good thing. If you breed a red gyarados with a normal one and get 4 eggs they will be normal magikarp. BUT if you then interbreed those magikarp then you have a 25% chance of a golden Magikarp b/c shininess is recessive(which explains why you don't find hardly any at all.), so that means red gyarados' alleles are "ss" which is shiny. A regular gyarados could be "SS" or "Ss". Then if the normal gyarados is "SS" and is bred w/ a "ss" then all offspring will be "Ss" so then if you interbreed the second generation, then you have a 25% chance of "SS", 50% of "Ss", and 25% of "ss". Then if you do get a "ss" and breed it w/ a "Ss" then you have a 50% chance of "ss". But if you breed "ss" w/ "ss" then you'll always get "ss".
Breeding w/ ditto makes ditto act as a "ss" so that's why you'll always get a "ss", or shiny magikarp. Same applies to all other GENDERED shiny pokemon.

4.) The higher level your Pokemon is the more likely you are to hit the other guy w/ one-hit K.O. Moves. The easiest way to determine this is to take the difference between your level and the foe's and add that amount to the one-hit K.O. Accuracy and that's the chances of hitting. (i.e. Kyogre lv. 75 vs. Zubat lv. 38, sheercold accuracy is 30 but add the level difference(37) and sheercold has a 67% chance of hitting, but b/c kyogre has drizzle, rain makes ice moves hit 15% more making sheercold's real accuracy 82%) also rain increases the chances of freezing or being frozen, by 15%. And it make thunder's accuracy a stunning 120 so even a few double teams wouldn't help.

5.) lastly, in your firered game, you are only able, (w/o trading) to get a mere 43% of the pokedex. Leafgreen raises this to 87%. Ruby and sapphire futher's this to 98% of completion. Mystery gifts will give the remaining 2% of the pokedex, so it's tecnically possible, w/o cheating to complete the pokedex. You just need ruby, sapphire, firered, leafgreen, 2 gba's and 2 wireless adapters and maybe a link cable.

Happy to help if I did but now you have a more inside look on the real world of pokemon.

Zapdos to beat Lorelei:find him at power plant and raise him to level 75-100
Charziard to beat Bruno:raise him to level 75-100
Any fire Pokemon to beat Aghatha:raise them to level 75-100
Any water Pokemon to beat Lance:raise them to level 75-100
ALL type to beat your rival:raise them to level 90-100

So you want to escape a cave, tower etc. But you ran out of escape ropes but if you have a TM that teaches dig teach it to a Pokemon then use the pokemon's dig and poof your outside the cave, gym, tower again etc. So now you can save money because don't waste all your money on escape ropes. Now you can just use dig. Hoped this helped with all players who don't have escape ropes and they are stuck in a cave, tower again etc.

Bogus Report:

Ok, for those of you who have been to the Lost Cave and are very confused to how it works, here are th directions!

To get the Lax Incense, go Right, then Down.

To get the Sea Incense, go Right, Down, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Up, Down, then Up.

To get the Max Revive, go Down, Right, Up, Down, Down, Right, then Right.

&&& Finally:

To get to Lady Selphy, go Down, Right, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, then Up.

After this, you must fight Selphy as she tinks you are going to hurt her. After you defeat her two lvl 49 Persians, you will take her home, and she'll want to see a certain pokemon. In return you'll recieve a gift. It is the same gift everytime you show her the Pokemon she wants to see. I will not tell you what it is, because you A. Must find out on your own. B. Already know. Or C. I don't remember what it's called.. Lol.. It's a certain type of Pokeball though.

Once you've gotten her back to her house, you can return to claim anything you've forgotten, and as well go back to the same place Selphy was in, because in the far back, between two rocks, is the 'Silk Scarf' item.

Hope this helps.

Master Ball; and the perfect choice!

Unrated
Verified by: exploding typhoon
Bogus Report:

Ok, so, for those of you who Play Fire Red, and don't really konw how to obtain another MB without trading a Pokemon holding one, then, here's advice for you.

But first, Any of you, who say "Why not just put it in the 6th slot, etc, blah blah blah" is kinda behind. That ONLY works for Red VERSION, not Fire Red. There's a difference.

Ok, now, what you should do is. :D Pick your nose.. Jking, ok, well, don't waste it on a Legendary Bird, as most of you already know this. Tehy can be caught using Pokeballs, Greatballs, Ultraballs, etc. If you weaken them of course, with a status effect as well, such as, putting them to sleep, or Paralysis.

It will take some time, but will work. Trust me.

Ok, Mewtwo. He's just like the legendary birds, But, wil be harder. For him, you may want to weaken him, and FREEZE him. Then have at it with pokeballs great,s and ultras and such.

If you have beaten the Elite Four, then at random, one of the 3 Legendary Dog Pokemon will appear, and of course depending on your Starter Pokemon, you'll get a certain one. Like, Charmander = Suicune - Squirtle = Entei - and Bulbasaur = Reiku [I think that's his name, and I think that's the outcome. Lol]

Well, the Legendary Dogs, CANNOT be caught with a pokeball, Ultra or great ball as they will dodge them, or etc. Only the masterball can catch them.

Use it then, and it WILL be tempting to use it before hand.

Advise: when it comes down to Legendary birds, and Mewtwo, save your game when you're next to them, in case you eaither

1. Faint one of them.

2. Run out of pokeballs.

3. Your Pokemon are fainted by the foe.

Or

4. You somehow get antsy and decide to throw the MB for fun and waste it :D

Wish the best of luck, and I hope this helps at least ONE person out there.

Nugget Bridge [More Nuggets]

Bogus Report:

Those of you, who have heard, or read about getting more than one Nugget from Nugget bridge, from fighting the leader [Team Rocket member] for as many as you want, well, it's true. Here's a great way.

1. Fight and beat all 5 members on Nugget bridge.
2. Save right after 5th member.
3. Head to Poke-Center, heal your Pokemon, deposit all, and withdraw you WEAKEST pokemon. [of course, you will have to deposit all but one, then withdraw, & deposit the other]
4. If you haev any money at all, that you could use to buy anything with, that may be of use, I suggest you buy it, or you will lose it. Yes, You can gain it back later on, but it's still money you couldbe using NOW.
5. Head back up to Rocket Member, and talk to him. He should give you a Nugget.
6. Lose, resulting in heading back to Poke-center. You won't lose the Nugget you obtained]
7. Repeat the talking to Rocket Member, in a result of gaining more and more Nuggets.

This may take some time, to getting however many you may want, but it surely does work, as far as I've learned opn my own, and I'm getting them as you read this. Lol. For those of you, who just NOW, out of these many years, started playing Pokemon, Nuggets are useless, unless you sell them. They run anbout 5000, and that is a lot when you get enough.

I'm terribly sorry for this long Tip, but I hope this helps ,most of you with Money trouble.

If you beat misty, go south of cerulean city and catch a meowth. Train it to level 18 so it learns payday. Fight the wild Pokemon by the day care and use payday the whole time. When you kill the Pokemon, you get money based on this:
User's level*5*number of times the payday is used. So an example= A level 20 meaowth uses payday twice. 20*5=100*2=200. 200 poke is earned.

Ultimate Move

Probably everyone knows this but you can teach your starter Pokemon a very strong move when it reaches a high level which in my case lvl.59. You just have to go to two island and go up the stairs near the store and enter the house in the end. Put your starter Pokemon first of your team then talk to the lady. She'll teach your Pokemon a very strong move like hydro canon. I haven' t tried on other pokemon...

Off to a Good Start

Bogus Report:

When you start the game, scroll through the Prof.'s rambling: yadda, yadda, yadda. Once you are in your room, go outside and summon the Prof. By walking towards the grass. He will let you choose one starter pokemon. Picking Bulbasaur gives you faster raising plus the type of poison makes foes unable to
Poison it. The downside is that several of it's moves have low PP. If you pick Squirtle, you will have average raising, higher defense, more gym advantages, plus it's attacks have good PP. The downside is just that it's only a bit above average. Charmander has good Sp. Attack and speed when evolving into Charizard,
And learns quite good moves. Its cons are that it has few gym advantages, except for when it learns Metal Claw, good for beating rock types, and it is raised slowly. The last part is that in just about every Pokemon game, you can get 3 potions early. The 1st is in your PC. Withdraw it from there. The 2nd is if you talk to a guy who works at a PokeMart. The third is in Firered and Leafgreen, not so sure about others. In Viridian, an old man teaches you how to catch Pokemon and gives you a TV set. To his left you see a small tree blocking an item ball (looks like a Pokeball). Go clockwise from the right of it around the fence and there is a 1 square wide pass leading to the item. Press A and you will have it.
