Level Medal 1: Kill 500 Units with the Counter-Turret

Level Medal 2: Upgrade 10 Turrets to Maximum

As far as Survival Levels go, the layout for the battlefield for the GI Joe Survival Level is pretty loose compared to previous levels. Set in a beach and jungle game board, the actual battlefield is a lot smaller than you might expect.

This particular level is an incredibly difficult one for The Kaiser as far as Heroes go largely due to the type of turrets it has. Due to the mix of vehicles and infantry right from the start it is both easy to lose control of the board, and damaging when you do.

That said, try to remember that there is no winning point for this type of level, there is just surviving for as long as you can. And if that means only getting through 7 waves, well that is what it means!

Fortunately not all Heroes are created equally - and then there is the fact that as a player you are very likely to find that you do better with a specific Hero (and it may not be the one that we mesh well with) but the beauty of the game is that this works...

Level Medal 1: Kill 500 Units with the Counter-Turret

The first challenge is actually wicked easy all things considered - that is IF you can survive the first six or so waves... Because you will rapidly get this kill count just by manning the appropriate turrets. Heck you can probably get it with the Infantry alone if you manage to get the Anti-Armor built and buffed fast enough.

Level Medal 2: Upgrade 10 Turrets to Maximum

This one is a bit harder - only because it requires you to stay alive and healthy long enough to actually earn the amount of money required to do it.

Getting the Sniper Sight upgrade adds to the tactical advantage of manning your turrets

On the other hand, the only way TO survive IS to upgrade your Turrets... So hey, this is sort of self-fulfilling in a way...

Score Run

Again this is really a Survival Run - and what it comes down to is figuring out what the best unit spread is for defending the board.

Obviously you will need some Anti-Armor in the front, MG in the middle, and probably Anti-Armor in the back. But do NOT forget at least one Flak Gun to deal with the air threat.

Equally as obvious is the fact that to have any chance at effectiveness you are going to need to take control of the turrets quickly and move freely among them, so remember that the D-Pad left-and-right allows you do quickly switch between turrets!

So yeah, all that said, and despite banging our head against the wall over and over, we were unable to find an elegant strategy for The Kaiser. YMMV but we doubt it...
