Level Medal 1: Kill 100 Units with your Hero

Level Medal 2: Keep your Toybox Above 90 Health

Right so... Yeah... Before we begin looking at the challenges, we should take a moment to discuss this level.

First, there are 25 waves on this level - the most we have faced so far in a single level. Second, this is basically the BOSS Level. Which means it is supposed to be hard - and it is!

The battlefield is one of the most unbalanced in the game so far. The enemy spawn points are VERY close to your Toybox, and the enemy is occupying most of the placements.

Even with the close-in LZ for the enemy AND the fact that they occupy placements we really need, our inability to create Air Defenses really mitigates our ability to defend to the bottom end of the spectrum.

Okay, we have pretty much covered the negatives. What are the positives?

We have access to the Stealth Jet and the Helo Drone from the start. But they have anti-aircraft so that is not as totally useful as it might be...

The trick to this level is understanding the challenge that it presents. There is a simple way to beat it. Just do the following:

1. Place an MG Turret in the open spot.

2. Use the MG Turret to defend against ALL troop attacks.

3. Upgrade the MG Turret to Max Damage and Range.

4. Use the MG Turret to destroy the nearby large crystal and place a Flak Gun there.

5. Use your Hero's Walking Artillery to clear the other enemy turrets.

6. With each turret cleared, place your own turrets - preferably Anti-Armor.

7. Once you clear away the two Square Placements, place Flak Guns in them.

8. UPGRADE YOUR FLAK GUNS!!! And do it before you NEED to.

9. Constantly be aware of when Enemy Infantry attack and DEFEND your Toybox using the MG!

Taking down the final boss is all in your Anti-Aircraft Gun!

If you follow the above guide, you not only WILL get through this you may very well get through it and unlock the second Challenge in one-go!

The final Boss Enemy in the Final Wave is the Emancipator. USE THE FLAK GUN TRICK!

Using your fully upgraded Flak Gun you can quickly take this guy down! Save a Hero Walking Artillery to use in order to speed up that process, but USE the Flak Guns as they REALLY eat him up!

And there you go mates - a level that a lot of players had a hard time getting through, and you get it down easy-peasy! With some Lemon-Squeezy!!

Level Medal 1: Kill 100 Units with your Hero

Considering how easy it is to cap your Action Point Bank with the Infantry waves unlocking this really should not be all that great a challenge. Just spawn your Hero during one of the Infantry Waves and then stand him by the Toybox and kill them!

Level Medal 2: Keep your Toybox Above 90 Health

Unlocking this depends almost entirely upon you mastering the whole MG defense trick and being there to man the MG Turret as needed AND building proper three-position Air Defense. Because once you get the MG Turret down, the real threat is going to be the planes - specifically the jets!

They will, if you let them, fly into your Toybox and take 6 points EACH. So yeah, Air Defense is the weakness for this level. But as long as you see to it, this should be trivial. That said though, you will probably have to take control of one of the Flak Guns to get them all.

Score Run

This one is certainly a challenging level, but if you use the advice that we gave above, you should not really find it all that challenging...

Remember no matter how hard the levels are in the game, there IS a way to beat them. And we have shared those ways with you.

Once you complete this level with The Kaiser, you have pretty much completed the main game - but not really... Because we still need to do the Survival Levels. And then there is the matter of unlocking all of the Achievements / Trophies to be reconsider...

And THEN there is playing through with all of the other Heroes! So, yeah, getting through this with The Kaiser was certainly a challenge, no doubt, but that does not mean we are done... Far from it in fact.

You may also want to note that there are still lots of incomplete stats for The Kaiser for you to dig into, plus the same goes for all of the other Heroes, so yeah, good value for the money, right? Right!

Remember to use environment objects - like exploding barrels - to your advantage

Hero: Phantom

The first observation to make with this hero and this level is that the basic strategy for The Kaiser totally applies here as well!

The only difference for this hero as opposed to The Kaiser is the need to hold the Hero Attack back for the final (red) level of the boss and to pop in and out of control to be sure that your MG turret is repaired because losing it will allow the final waves of infantry to overwhelm your Toybox!

That pretty much sums up the level with Phantom.

Hero: Star Bright

Thanks in no small part to Star's superior weapons the run through with this hero was wicked easy with the exception of one point. If you fail to place and upgrade adequate air defenses - at least TWO - and upgrade their range and damage, you may not come out of this with a pristine toybox.

That said though, the basic strategies that we used for The Kaiser pretty much apply here as well. The Anti-Armor does not seem to work real well with the boss mob, so it is Flak Gun combat for it when using Star Bright.

Hero: Darklord

You will be using the same strategy that we used for The Kaiser for this hero.

His weapons are not as robust in terms of dishing damage overall as that of Star Bright, but they are as strong and maybe - at least in the case of the Anti-Armor - a little bit stronger.

You may find that this hero is particularly challenged for doing the challenges / medals - which is why we don't recommend it. This one, specifically, is what you might call an acquired taste.

Remember that the Range Upgrade only applies to the turrets autonomy - when you man one you can shoot to the horizon!

Hero: GI Joe Duke

This hero is basically a new and improved version of The Kaiser - which means you can follow the strategy from The Kaiser run-thru pretty much to the letter, though Duke will be a bit more effective both in damage dealing and defense.

Hero: GI Joe Cobra Enemy

The Cobra Hero uses the same strategy that you used for The Kaiser, having similar weapon platforms (though more modern).

If you are looking for the perfect hero to do the medal challenges, this is very likely the one. It certainly has an edge over all of the other Heroes, that is for sure. Particularly in terms of its anti-armor, which is Stinger Missile based.

Simply follow the strategy from The Kaiser section to complete the level.

Hero: He-Man

This hero is basically an energy-based version of The Kaiser - which means you can follow the strategy from The Kaiser run-thru pretty much to the letter, though He-Man will be a bit less effective both in damage dealing and defense.

Of course if you just want to play He-Man - you know, you have He-Man fantasies and such - well nobody is stopping you! Go for it!

Hero: Ezio

For the Ezio Hero you follow the standard strategy that is used by The Kaiser. Bear in mind though that the weaker attack and damage powers of Ezio's turrets means you will need to begin your attacks earlier and pay closer attention to how close you allow the enemy to get to your toybox.
