Hidden thoughout the different regions of Hyrule there are different types of treasure chests which will contain valuable and useful items.

Metal Chests

These heavy chests contain valuable treasure and more often than not can be found under water or buried. You will need to use Magnesis to excavate and move these treasure chests closer to you.

Wooden Chests

These cheasts are common and don't usually contain treasure as valuable as metal chests. Wooden chests are easier to get than Metal chests as they float in water. To reach wooden chests use Cyronis to create a pillar of ice underneath them.

Skull Chests

These chests are locked and can only be opened once all its guardians have been defeated. The skull's eye colour will change colour and the chest will unlock when this has been accomplished.

Shrine Chests

These orange-glowing treasure chests hold special rewards inside Shrines. They can't be moved by Magnesis.
