Inventory Management

It is important that you keep your inventory in order by clycling out things you know you will never need and selling useless items you can get Rupees for.

Stamina Bar

keep an eye on the stamina bar because if it depletes fully you will die. Look to max out your stamina as early as possible as having high stamina gets you the best views.

Climbing

Take advantage of your ability to climb, whether it be getting apples from trees, vantage points from buildings, or viewing new pastures from cliffs. When you climb mountains look for little ridges where you can stop climbing and just stand still for a few seconds. Doing this will allow you to recharge your stamina so you can climb even further up mountains without falling and dying.

Towers

Keep an eye out for the region's tower when you visit a new area. Towers are large structures that serve both as waypoints and as sources of information for your Sheikah Slate. Until you find each region’s tower, your map will be totally blank. Towers can be viewed from a fair distance but there will be times they will be obscured by mountains from certain angles.

Campfires

Sit next to campfires when you need to pass time before tackling a certain event that happens the following morning, noon, or night. If you cannot find a campfire you can always build one. If you have a Cooking Pot you can alway use the time to cook and get some more hearts.

Crates

When you find crates use heavy melee weapons to smash them open and get the item inside. Avoid using bombs as they will send the contents flying.

Shrines

After you have found the tower in an area look for Shrines as each of them is a fast travel point which will enalble you to start exploring in one direction and then backtrack so you can check out what’s in the other direction. You will want to find as many shrines as possible.
