One of the ways in which you can strengthen your characters in The DioField Chronicle is by investing the Skill Points you earn during the game into the Skill Tree. The Skill Tree is basically an upgrade menu that you will have access to early in the game when you reach the Elm Camp Headquarters. All you need to do is head over to the Institute of the camp, or alternately by opening up your 'Pre-Mission' menu. In total there are four different classes of character - Soldier, Sharpshooter, Cavalier, and Magicker, and each of them has access to different skills which you can invest your Skill Points into. How to Use the Skill Tree

In The DioField Chronicle there are four classes of character and each has their own unique Skill Tree. The types of skills that your character can equip will depend on their current weapon so it is important that you check what they have first before you make a purchase. In order to buy the skill that you want you simply have to go to it and hold either the X or A button on your controller to confirm your selection.

Keep in mind that Skill Points are shared between the four Skill Trees so you need to be careful about where to invest them. It is recommended that you invest your Skill Points into the skills you often use. If you mess up and want to reset a character you will be able to do so at a cost of 10,000 Guld. Skill Points can be earned as mission rewards during main and sub-quests.
