How to Earn Money

The currency used in The DioField Chronicles is Guld and in order to purchase the best weapons, accessories, items as well as upgrade Magilumic Orbs you will need to earn a lot of it. This How to Earn Money guide will tell you the different ways you can gain money in The DioField Chronicles.

Clear Missions

Whenever you clear a mission in The DioField Chronicles you will be rewarded with Guld. Just by progressing through the game you will be able to accumulate a decent amount of money. A good way to spend time farming money is to replay missions in Practice Battle. Using the money you earn grinding in Practice Battle can be used to equip your party with stronger weapons and equipment which will then enable you to take on tougher encounters when you embark on missions later in the main story.

Keep in mind that the money you earn in Practice Battle does not change regardless of the difficulty, so it is recommended that you play on Casual mode to grind money quicker. Practice Battle is unlocked by clearing the 'Coswell Volcano Expedition' mission in Chapter 1.

Raise Weapon Development Rank

You can increase the money that you earn after each mission by raising your Weapon Development Rank (Mercenary Unit Rank). When you raise your Weapon Development Rank up to Rank 3 you will be granted a permanent 10% increase in Guld for clearing a mission. Although not much this increase will help speed up money farming, especially during the early stages of the game.

Sell Unwanted Gear

Keep in mind that you can always sell off any weapons, accessories, or items you have no need for at the shop to earn some money. You will be continually getting better gear as you progress through the game so make sure you offload obsolete items you don't want for cash whenever you get the chance.
