How to Unlock the Type 100

The Type 100 is arguably the Best Secondary Weapon in Sniper Elite. This How to Unlock the Type 100 guide will tell you how to acquire this highly-coveted SMG by completing the kill challenge in Mission 5: Festung Guernsey where your objective is to kill Lanzo Baumann by burying the target in concrete.

In Mission 5: Festung Guernsey you have to assassinate Lanzo Bauman by burying him in concrete. In order to do so you first need to stealthily approach your target and knock him out without killing him. Once Bauman is unconscious you need to carefully carry him to the upper level of the construction site you can see. If you can't see the construction site for whatever reason simply look at your map to view its location which will be the area marked in red.

Make sure as you make your way up to the upper level of the construction site you keep an eye out for enemies or any collectible things. When you reach the top you will see a concrete machine you can sabotage. Once it starts pouring concrete onto the ground below you need to throw the unconscious body of Baumann over the railing into the concrete. Doing this will complete the kill challenge and unlock the Type 100 SMG for use in Sniper Elite 5.

The Type 100 SMG in Sniper Elite 5 is extremely effective in close-quarter fights when the enemy is too close, and snipping is impossible.
