Description Of Viridian Forest:

At long last, after catching a few Pokemon and training your Party, you finally reach the Viridian Forest midway through Route 2, the first place you can abttle other trainers (outside your Rival). This forest is huge, and contains a number of Pokemon (mainly Bug type), Items, and Trainers! It will be your first big test on your way to your first Pokemon Gym Battle!

Trainers In Viridian Forest:

Bug Catcher - Level 6 Weedle & Level 6 Caterpie

Bug Catcher - Level 7 Weedle, Level 7 Weedle & Level 7 Kakuna

Bug Catcher - Level 7 Caterpie, Level 7 Caterpie & Level 7 Metapod

Bug Catcher - Level 9 Weedle

Bug Catcher - Level 9 Caterpie

Items In Viridian Forest:

Poke Ball - Found on the ground in the open.

Antidote - Found on the ground in the open.

Potion (2) - One is found on the ground in the open, but one is found later by using the Itemfinder.

Pokemon In Viridian Forest:


Caterpie - Levels 3-5 - 50% Appearance Rate

Metapod - Levels 4-6 - 35% Appearance Rate

Pikachu - Levels 3-5 - 5% Appearance Rate

Weedle - Level 3 - 5% Appearance Rate

Kakuna - Level 4 - 5% Appearance Rate
