Move Animation Changes

Since the 1996 release of Pokemon Blue, various moves have had a change in animation. This change was done to lower the flashing animation that can possibly trigger photo-sensitive epilepsy in some players.

There are now fifteen moves that have different animation than in the original Pokemon Blue:

1) Blizzard

2) Bubble Beam

3) Confusion

4) Dream Eater

5) Explosion

6) Guillotine

7) Hyper Beam

8) Mega Kick

9) Mega Punch

10) Psychic

11) Reflect

12) Rock Slide

13) Self-Destruct

14) Spore

15) Thunderbolt

As you can see in the picture above, there is a great change in the virtual effects shown.
