Route 11
Description Of Route 11:
Directly after coming back through Diglett Cave, you may notice Route 11 just east of Vermilion City. There are a number of Trainers and Wild Pokemon here, as well as another In-Game Trade and Professor Oak Aide. The In-Game Trade is for a Nidorina, which isn't necessary at all. And the next Professor Oak Aide will give you the Itemfinder if you have caught thirty different Pokemon Species.
Route 11 connects to Route 12; however, a Pokemon is blocking the way of the path and this area can't be unlocked until later in the game.

Escape Rope - Is hidden in the lonely tree near the Gate in the east of the route.
Itemfinder - GIven to you by Oak's Aide if you have captured thirty different Pokemon. This item allows you to find hidden items in the game.
