| GOAL: Find some enthusiasm to mend the man's broken heart. |

| To begin this errand, talk to the man standing near the wheel near the |

| Cawtermaster's Store in south Ding Dong Dell. He just doesn't have the will |

| to do anything and wants to put it off until later, so it's time to help him.|

| There is one person in south Ding Dong Dell and two people in north Ding Dong|

| Dell that have some extra enthusiasm; they're marked in green on your map. |

| Talk to any one of them and use the 'Take Heart' spell to acquire some extra |

| enthusiasm. |

| Once you have it, return to the man and talk to him, using 'Give Heart' on |

| him to give him your enthusiasm and complete the task. |

| To begin this errand, talk to the lady standing just outside of Swift |

| Enthusiasm for her. |

| Dong Dell that have some extra enthusiasm; they're marked in green on your |

| map. Talk to any one of them and use the 'Take Heart' spell to acquire some |

| extra enthusiasm. |

| Once you have it, return to the lady and talk to her, using 'Give Heart' on |

| her to give her your enthusiasm. She'll thank you and you'll earn your |

| reward. |

| ERRAND #003 - The Sheikh of Spice |

| GOAL: Restore his enthusiasm, then listen to what he has to say. |

| Head over to Swift Solutions, where a new blue dot has appeared on your map. |

| This is the Sheikh you heard of, but he's brokenhearted and needs help. |

| First, stop at Rashaad's stand and talk to the woman just below it; she has |

| some extra enthusiasm, so be sure to grab it with 'Take Heart'. [Or, if you |

| had already gotten her enthusiasm for a previous errand, you'll have to |

| backtrack to Ding Dong Dell for it.] |

| |

| Head back to the Sheikh, then give him the enthusiasm with 'Give Heart' to |

| return him to normal. |

| ERRAND #004 - An Overdue Loan |

| To begin this errand, talk to the boy beside the western milk fountain. This |

| cruel kid needs some kindness, so we better find some. |

| Just a few steps east of Rashaad's babana stand is a man that has a piece of |

| heart. Talk to him, and sure enough, he's got plenty of kindness to spare, |

| so choose 'Take Heart' when it comes up to receive that extra bit of heart. |

| |

| Return to the boy near the milk fountain and talk to him again, giving him |

| the extra bit of kindness using 'Give Heart' to have him return to normal. |

| He'll now gladly return the book, and will reward you. |

| ERRAND #005 - Ice Cream Dreams |

| To begin this errand, you need to talk to the man just above the entrance of |

| the Cat's Cradle. He's lacking in courage, so let's go find some. |

| Make your way over to the western side of town near Swift Solutions, then go |

| up and talk to the woman on the right. Her glowing greed dot on the map |

| signifies that she has something, and sure enough, it's the courage we're |

| looking for. Talk to her, then choose 'Take Heart' to receive some courage. |

| |

| Return to the man and talk to him again. When your Spell Menu comes up, |

| choose 'Give Heart,' then courage to restore it for him. |

| ERRAND #006 - The Fisherman's Woe |

| Head to the piers and talk to the man in the southeast corner, who appears |

| to be lacking courage. You're in luck; the man on the boat at the first pier |

| none available in the town of fairies - odd - so you'll have to wait until |

| you progress further in the story and return it whenever possible. |

| It looks like the pink fairy near the Cavity Club to the south is missing |

| some restraint since he's on an infinite jest spree. The restraint you're |

| looking for, if you hadn't already gotten it, is located in the southeast |

| corner of town. The customer here has plenty of it. Manage the exchange and |

| get rewarded, simple as that. |

| walking around the northern part of town. Claim your reward as you exchange |

| in Hamelin, so this errand will have to be postponed for quite a while. |

| * If you chose to complete errand #016 first, you will not be able to |

| complete this errand until later, when you have access to more courage. |

| To begin this errand, you must first find this mysterious forest. Take a |

| look at your map; directly to the east of Ding Dong Dell is a path between |

| two mountain ranges, with a forest right in the middle of that path. Just to |

| the north of THAT forest is the one we need to visit, so head east to the |

| smaller forest, then north of it to arrive inside. |

| |

| Once you're in the forest, approach the blue chest to the northwest and use |

| your 'Spring Lock' spell to obtain a [BATTLER'S BADGE] accessory. Feel free |

| to equip it, then talk to the boy beside the chest. He'll tell you that five |

| Rhinobores are destroying their homes, so you'll be the one to slay the |

| beasts. |

| Back out on the World Map, you'll see all five of them surrounding various |

| parts of the forest. They are actually pretty easy; just go into battle and |

| let your Thumbelemur have a sparring session with each one to quickly knock |

| them out. |

| happens to be in the Golden Grove. Go ahead and head back out to the World |

| Map and make the trek to the far northwest to Golden Grove. |

| Of course, as chance would have it, the husband is quite a ways in the |

| forest; look at your map and locate the blue dot to the northwest of your |

| current position to see him. Drippy will warn you along the way that the |

| monsters have taken a special liking to you since you have that yummy basket |

| of food, so keep your eyes peeled. Once you finally make it to the avid |

| forager, he'll take the basket and leave you with a message to give to his |

| wife. |

| Make your way back out of the Grove and to Al Mamoon to his wife, who, after |

| hearing the lovely poem sent back for her, will reward you. |

| Boneheads. They aren't pointed out to you in any way, so just start wandering|

| around and looking for them. Now would probably be a good time to do some |

| treasure hunting, taking the bony buggers out as you come across them. (See |

| the next section for locations.) Once you've defeated the tenth one, return |

| to Al Mamoon and talk to the merchant lady again to receive your reward. |

| To begin this errand, you need to talk to the guy manning the curry stall |

| just to the right of the eastern milk fountain. He needs some ingredients |

| for his ultimate dish, so you'll need to find them for him. Required are: |

| Fluffy Rice, some Tender Beef, and a pinch of the Sheikh's special spices! |

| Make sure to have some extra time allotted for this one, because it'll take |

| a while (and it spans three actual tasks). |

| |

| First, stop at Rashaad's stand and talk to the woman just below it; she has |

| some extra enthusiasm, so be sure to grab it with 'Take Heart'. [Or, if you |

| had already gotten her enthusiasm for a previous errand, you'll have to |

| backtrack to Ding Dong Dell for it.] |

| |

| Next, check your inventory; if you already have a Tender Beef and Fluffy |

| Rice, then you're fine. If not, then stop in at the Hootique and buy one of |

| each. |

| |

| Now head over to Swift Solutions, where a new blue dot has appeared on your |

| map. This is the Sheikh you heard of, but he's brokenhearted and needs help. |

| Go ahead and accept Errand #003, then turn right around and hand over the |

| enthusiasm with 'Give Heart' to return him to normal. As a thank you, you'll |

| receive [SANDWICH x2] and [100 G], effectively ending Errand #003. |

| |

| Now that he's back to normal, he will agree to give you some of his spices, |

| but only if you bring him what he needs, which is a turmeric root and three |

| generous pinches of spicy seeds. Off to find those as well! |

| |

| Unfortunately, none of what he wants is actually in the city, so we need to |

| find a way to get them. Stop in at Swift Solutions first and talk to the |

| Taskmaster. A new Bounty Hunt has opened up, so go ahead and accept the job |

| to start Bounty #088! |

| |

| To get our turmeric root, we must defeat the lumberwood as shown in the |

| Bounty, and he hangs out around Golden Grove, so leave the city and make |

| your way northwest, taking on the beast once he's in your sight. The battle |

| itself is a cinch; just cast Pulse with Oliver 2-3 times and he's toast! |

| Upon his defeat, he'll relinquish the [TURMERIC ROOT] that you need, as well |

| as 62 EXP and 47 G. |

| |

| Now, the last ingredient that you need is the spicy seed, and you need |

| three of them. The only place to find them (and this is a one-time deal) is |

| to the west-southwest of Al Mamoon in the Smoky Mountains. Climb the path |

| toward the volcano, and along the way, you'll come across three sets |

| twinkling stars as you get closer to the mountain itself. The first pinch |

| of [SPICY SEEDS] will be at the corner where the path turns west; the |

| second pinch of [SPICY SEEDS] will be to the west near the river of lava, |

| and the third pinch of [SPICY SEEDS] will be all the way to the west near a |

| stream of lava. To get the third one you'll need the Bridge spell, which |

| you acquire at the Temple of Trials. |

| |

| Once you have those, return to Al Mamoon. Stop in at Swift Solutions first |

| and claim your prize, [MILK CHOCOLATE x5] and [200G], ending Bounty #088. |

| Afterwards, head back outside and talk to the Sheikh, giving him his |

| ingredients. With them, he makes the spices you need, and you'll receive a |

| bowl of [SHEIKH'S SPECIAL SPICES]. |

| Bring all ingredients back to Raj at the town square and he'll reward you |

| with [TIKKA MAHALA x5] and [200 G] after a scene has played. You can now |

| also buy Tikka Mahala at any time you wish from him for the price of 200 G. |

| It's in fact an excellent healing item early in the game since it restores |

| 150 HP. |

| Head to the World Map and look for the bats near the beach area, and defeat |

| them in the aforementioned fashion. They won't always drop the slapsticks |

| even then, but a few battles ought to be enough to collect all three of 'em. |

| horrible hyperboars who have been troubling the forest, eating its mushrooms.|

| All Hyperboars are marked on your map, making them easy to find. The first |

| two Hyperboars are accompanied by two Crashing Boars - lesser versions which |

| you should eliminate first - while the third Hyperboar is accompanied by |

| three of those, so you might want to touch the nearby Waystone first. |

| |

| The battles themselves aren't too tough if you bring Familiars who can dish |

| out fire-elemental attacks - equip your Burning Blades for sure - and group |

| hitting attacks such as Mite's Cut Loose work rather well. It's certainly |

| good to know that all the boars can be blinded (by skills such as Mite's |

| Sand Blast), so it's generally a good idea to blind the strongest boar at |

| the start of the battle and then to follow up with an all-out attack while |

| using group hitting skills manually. Do stay healthy and use healing spells |

| or items should anyone fall below 40% of their max HP. Once they've fallen, |

| return to the Waystone to heal and save. |

| |

| Return to the fairy, only to find that it's being attacked by an even |

| stronger Full Bore (along with three Crashing Boars). Proper boss battle |

| music may roll, then en't it? There's good! Your strategy from before works |

| equally well in this battle, except it's going to be a little longer and |

| tougher, and you'll want to watch your health a little more closely. After |

| defeating the boars, you're finally given a reward for all your hard labor. |

| The researcher's perils are not yet over, it seems! Pirates in the sea |

| between Hamelin and Castaway Cove are preventing him to bring his medicine |

| towards his sister, so you'll have to take it for him, right? Nope! That |

| would be too easy, now wouldn't it? No... You'll have to kill ALL the |

| pirates on ALL four pirate ships so that the researcher can bring the |

| medicine himself. |

| |

| Finding the pirate ships is easy; make sure you initiate each fight by |

| approaching the back of their ships to get the upper hand. An All-Out Attack |

| should make it possible for you to wipe out at least one of the three to |

| four Zomboatswains you're up against. The last fight also includes a tougher |

| Cap'n Zombo, so pay closer attention to your health and start using group |

| attacks. You might want to rest in the Cat's Cradle (in Castaway Cove) |

| between battles if you get severely hurt; otherwise these battles are |

| manageable. |

| ACTUALLY speak with her, use 'Spirit Medium', and you'll find out that she |

| just wants you to toughen her pet jabberguppy up so that it can move on |

| without her. |

| To complete this task, you must level up the Jabberguppy from 30 to 40. You |

| can either just throw it in your party and come back once the time comes, or |

| you can take it just outside of Perdida near Billy Goat's Bluff and fight |

| four Tokotokos to get there. Either way, once you're at 40, she'll reward |

| you and this errand will come to a close, with you keeping the pet familiar. |

| over and you've talked to the kid, you'll automatically return to Yule and |

| In Al Mamoon, talk to Raj at the curry stand by the milk fountain on the |

| right. He needs help delivering his curry, so agree to help. You need to |

| visit the following people, in this order, one at a time, then return to Raj |

| to obtain more food for delivery: |

| • Sheikh of Spice (Al Mamoon, outside of Swift Solutions) |

| • Governor (Castaway Cove, on the eastern docks) |

| • William Abel (Hamelin, the owner of the Black Market) |

| • Bartender (Tombstone Trail's Crypt Casino, in the back right) |

| • Wild Man (Forest Glade, far west of The Deep Dark Wood, then south to a |

| dead-end at the base of the mountains) |

| |

| Return to Raj after you've made all five deliveries to collect the goodies. |

| ERRAND #068 - Wakey, Wakey |

| In Hamelin, talk to the man walking between Swift Solutions and the |

| Cawtermaster's Store to find out that he's been oversleeping. To help him |

| out, you need to get several items for him: |

| • Sleep-Be-Gone (Hamelin's Hootique) |

| • Cappuccino (Perdida's Peddler) |

| • Rise and Shine Gem (You should have one from Errand #018 or on the beach |

| of the Hermit's Shell, to the southeast. If not, or if |

| you already used one or both of them, then catch a |

| Turbandit and get him to Level 7 to learn the spell.) |

| |

| Once you have all of these, talk to the man again several times. As long as |

| you have the first two items, and a familiar in your active party has the |

| Rise and Shine spell, you'll be able to cure the man. |

| ERRAND #069 - The Runaway Fairies |

| DESCRIPTION: A fairy in Golden Grove is anxiously waiting for his friends to |

| ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ return after they fled the forest. |

| WHEN?: After completing the main story. |

| GOAL: Agree to look for his missing friends. |

| UNLOCK REQUIREMENT: Complete Errand #053. |

| Make your way to the southern exit of the Golden Grove, where you'll find |

| the fairy from before, except this time, he wants your help in finding his |

| friends and telling them the forest is safe again. He has five friends to |

| find, and you have to find them one at a time, then come back and talk to |

| him again to find out where the next one is. |

| |

| • Skull Mountain. Travel there, then head south down the mountain. The fairy |

| is hiding behind the wooden fence behind the second red flag to the south. |

| |

| • The Vault of Tears. Travel there, then go inside. Travel north to the |

| first fork, then go west. As the path curves from west to north, check the |

| cell against the left wall to find another fairy. If you look at your map, |

| it's just west of the magic seal to the north. |

| |

| • Motorville. (HOW?) In any case, cast Gateway, then go directly south, |

| turning right to Phil's workshop as you get to it to find the next one. |

| |

| • Abandoned Mine. Travel to Hamelin, then fly east over the Mountains with |

| Tengri, landing on the open area near the ocean that leads up to the |

| Abandoned Mine. The fairy is inside near the skeleton to the far north. |

| |

| • Forest Glade on Jack Frost's Playground. Travel to Yule, then fly |

| southeast, having Tengri drop you off near the center of the island. Enter |

| the Forest Glade in the dead center of it, then talk to the last fairy in |

| here to return with your task completed. You'll get your reward, as well |

| as two new formulae. |

| ERRAND #070 - The Greatest Treasure |

| DESCRIPTION: A young boy in Castaway Cove has found a pirate's treasure map, |

| In Castaway Cove, make your way over to just outside the Cat's Cradle and |

| talk to the little boy. He's found a treasure map, and wants you to find the |

| treasures since his mom won't let him. There are seven places marked on the |

| map, and as we'll find out, each one pinpoints the location of one of the |

| stone tablets we've come across several times in our journey. You can talk |

| to the people in town if you want regarding the locations, or you can just |

| read along right here: |

| |

| • Shipwreck Shore - Fly northeast of the Vault of Tears to the dead-end on a |

| high point surrounded by the sea. It's north of where the Sea Cow is |

| docked, and north of the wreckage there. (3B) |

| |

| • Bungler's Bay - Fly directly south of Old Smoky. It's on the southeastern |

| corner of the island. (73) |

| |

| • The Barrens - Fly south of Skull Mountain / west of the northern entrance |

| of Golden Grove. It's a small section of land near the ocean to the |

| southeast of where the Sea Cow is docked. The tablet is southwest of the |

| waterfall to the north. (5A) |

| |

| • Tiny Tim - Fly southwest of Yule; it's the top of the two isles to the |

| southwest of the Winter Wonderlands. It's on the center of the island, |

| almost under the overhanging cliffs to the northeast. (1K) |

| |

| • Swan Island - Fly northeast of The Deep Dark Wood to Swan Island. The |

| tablet is on the eastern side of the island. (4L) |

| |

| • Billy Goat's Bluff - Fly northwest just a tad from Perdida. It's at the |

| dead-end of the path that you could've taken had you docked your ship on |

| the west coast of Autumnia. There's a forage point nearby. (6I) |

| |

| • No Longer Mine - Fly south-southeast of Hamelin to No Longer Mine isle. |

| Land on the westernmost part of the island, then go south and across the |

| thin bridge to find the stone here. (2U) |

| |

| Return to Castaway Cove after discovering the six sets of letters, and the |

| boy will wonder if you can decipher it all for him. If you put it all in |

| alphanumeric order, you get this... which if you put the second character |

| under the first, you get this... |

| |

| "1K2U3B4L5A6I73" ---> "1234567" |

| "KUBLAI3" |

| |

| So enter "KUBLAI3", which stands for Kublai Khan the Third! Make your way to |

| the Iron Wyvern and talk to Kublai on the western side of the ship. He'll |

| tell you the tell on Kublai Khan the Third, who'll tell you of one last |

| treasure in the depths of a forest on an island that no ship could reach. |

| Travel to the Tombstone Trail, then fly on Tengri to the northeast. Have him |

| drop you off in the center of The Broken Crown, then examine the monument |

| and use 'Rejuvenate' to bring the text back. |

| Once you've read it, return to Castaway Cove and talk to the boy one last |

| time to end this mini adventure. You'll receive a bunch of formulae in |

| addition to the usual treasure for completion. |
