Wanted Posters

The Wanted Posters are the second set of collectibles in the game, and collecting all 159 posters will unlock the Achievement / Trophy "Card Sharp" which is worth 40 GP on the XBox Version, and is a Silver Trophy on the PS3. 

Providing a guide for these in this walkthrough is beyond the scope of it, simply because the collection is so complex that it requires a guide unto itself. 

There are literally thousands of such guides online already since the release of the game -- some of them more reliable than others.

When you select a guide make certain that it includes both a map with the locations marked, and individual screen-shots of each individual poster. 

More important than that though, make certain that the guide is using the numbering system from the game!  There are a lot of guides out there that used their own numbering system -- which is the pure mark of the amateur -- and those make completing the collection harder on you because you have no way to tell which posters match the numbers in the game!

While we do not provide you with a guide here, we do have some helpful advice to you for completing this collection and getting the Achievement.

1 -- Start with Wanted Poster #63, which is located on the roof of a building near Joe's flat by the highway.  The reason that you should start with this one is that it is the hardest one to get in the game -- gaining access to the roof requires you to use a car and crash through the guard rail on the highway and land the car on that roof!

If you do this one first, all of the others will be cake.

2 -- Use a ticklist.  I have provided a ticklist below for you to use to track the posters that you have collected -- use it!  Knowing what you have already collected is key to doing this, and while you CAN check that in the Extras Menu, to do so you have to quit the game.

3 -- Try NOT to collect any of these while you are playing the story mode -- but if you DO, make sure that you check the Collection in the Extras Menu and tick off the ones you collected prior to loading the game to do this collection, so that you know which ones you do not need to find.  There is nothing more frustrating than looking for a poster you have already collected!

4 -- Do these in sessions.  Trying to do them all at one go will make you crazy, and could make you hate this game.  Considering that there will be more DLC content for this title later it would be bad to end up hating this, especially as it is one of the best games in its genre ever made.

Yes, some of the Achievements -- this one included -- are rather lame.  Yes they are make-work.  But considering that this is the only thing wrong with this game, that makes it an amazing game!
