How to Fast Travel

The map in LifeAfter is big and for your character to reach destinations that are on opposite sides of the map will take its toll on them, not to mention it is also dangerous trudging vast expanses with zombies lurking everywhere. You can get around this problem using the helicopter option, to use the helicopter to fast travel you need to tap the mini-map in the top-right corner of the screen whilst in the development zone. There you will see a red exit icon that indicates the current location of the helicopter evacuation point. Proceed to that location.

At this location you will be able to tapon the helicopter ('Open'), which pulls up your tablet and gives you several areas from which to choose from. If you double tap where you want to visit you will fast travel there. At the beginning of the game though you will discover that not all of the locations will be available. To unlock these zones so you gain access to these locations you will first have to build up your survivors skills. Before you visit new zones it is advised that you are prepared for them as each has different level zombies.
