Crafting the Repair Bench

To be able to repair, dismantle, and empower gears will require a Repair Bench. Once you have the required amount of Wood and Iron Ore you need to go to the town hall and enter the furniture shop. To reach the Town Hall from the Development zone you need to use the helicopter and visit the zone that corresponds with the server you are using - mine was Hope (101) but yours could be something else. What is the formula

You will need to gather the follow ingredients:

600 - Wood

4 - Iron Ore

Wood can be obtained by choping down trees and Iron Ore is the secondary resource you get by breaking rocks using the pixaxe.

How do I Craft the Repair Bench

Inside the furniture shop interact with the furniture maker object and select 'Craft', followed by 'Repair Bench' from the list. To craft a Repair Bench takes approximately 10 minutes and once completed it will be sent to the mailbox at the Development zone. Claim the Repair Bench from the mailbox and go inside the house and select 'Build', then 'Furniture', and finally 'Repair Bench' and place it where you want.

How do I use the Repair Bench

Over a period of time the durability of the gears (armour, melee weapons, and tools) you use decreases and they will need to be repaired so they perform at optimum capacity again. You can see the condition of your gears by looking at the orange gauge that is at the bottom of a gears item icon. If the durability of the gear reaches 0 it will disappear. To repair the gear tap on it and select 'Fix' and spend the indicated amount of New Dollar, the universal currency in LifeAfter. However there will be some gears that cannot be fixed, tap the (i) icon on the gear in question to get more details. The Repair Bench can also be used to dismantle and empower gears, dismantling the item breaks the selected item and provides materials. If you empower a gear you will be adding a special effect to the gear. To empower gears will cost you Empowerment points which can be obtained by extracting items. The Extraction tab of the Repair Bench enables you to extract the items to get Empowerment points.
