Post Game: Extra Planet Z

Walkthrough

In order to unlock the stage of Extra Planet Z, Story Mode must be completed and all prior stages must be cleared. That being said, this extra level see you through many different scenarios involving the use of all of Kirby's allies that helped along your journey. Not only will face off against every single Mini Boss found throughout Story Mode, but you will also have a rematch against the Boss known as Yggy Woods.

The level begins on a platform out in space. As you progress onward with Kirby, more and more platforms will appear, forming the shape of a heart before the next door is revealed. Said door leads to the next area, the same where you can recruit some allies for Kirby before traveling through a series of side paths necessary to open the path forward. Eventually, you will come to the first Mini Boss Battle, this one against Twin Kawasaki.

Once the two Chefs have been defeated, the path will lead you through even more split side area where Kirby can have a more allies join his team. At some point, you should be able to see three sets of dynamite within the ceiling above. First off, you will need an Electric Ability in order to open the gate to find the dynamite fuse. From there, you will need the Sizzle Staff to light said fuse. By setting off the dynamite, you will obtain a Treasure Chest with the Rainbow Puzzle Piece for this level inside. At The End of the second path, you will have to defeat Twin Frosty before heading up to a pedestal where you can activate the Friend Star.

The next area you come to will see the Star Allies flying through space, having to avoid more meteor showers as they do. Along this journey, you will encounter and battle the remaining three Mini Bosses - Twin Bonkers, Twin Bugzzy and Twin Vividria - at separate times. You must defeat each of them to continue proceeding forward. Eventually, you will run into Yggy Woods, the Boss of this level, and you will have to defeat him in a rematch battle.

After landing the Friend Star, Kirby and his allies will find a rather unique formation. Pressing the switch will reveal a doorway, the same that leads to the final area of the level. This area is yet another grassland, where the path ahead is formed by blocks that will automatically lock into place. At The End of the path, a Big Switch will be found. By pressing it, an enormous golden statue of Kirby will appear while goodies rain from the sky. Entering the statue's mouth will complete the level.
