Dream Land: Clash at Castle Dedede

Walkthrough

After defeating Whispy Woods and completing Fruity Forest, you will proceed to the Clash at Castle Dedede. This is the fifth and final level (excluding the extra level of Extra Eclair) found in the Dream Land World, being set in King Dedede's Castle at sunset. Here, Kirby must defeat both a Mini Boss and another real Boss! It is finally time for Kirby to discover what is wrong with the king!

Not too long after arriving to King Dedede's Castle, you will have your next Mini Boss Fight, this time against none other than Bugzzy. He is another quick defeat - easily done by attacking with basic moves - and you will earn the Suplex Copy Ability from him after you do that very thing. In order to find the Rainbow Puzzle Piece before the Final Boss Fight of this World, you will have to obtain and use Waddle Dee's Copy Ability. After you do, throw one of your allies using this ability to break the large Stone in the contained area you will eventually come to. Once you do, a Hidden Door will appear that will take you to the Puzzle Piece.

At The End of the this level, you will face none other than King Dedede himself, who, of course, has also become corrupted. During the first part of the battle, Dedede will throw food at you. Easily dodge his attacks, keeping up with your own attacks as you do. During the second half of the fight, you will need to destroy the bottom portions of the columns found throughout. This will cause the king to stumble and fall, forcing him to be stuck for a small period of time. While he is in this vulnerable state, attack him with all you've got.

After defeating King Dedede, Kirby and his allies will celebrate. As this occurs, The End credits will begin to roll. But don't be fooled! After all the credits have been shown, they will quickly rewind. It will then be revealed that a Jamba Heart caused all the trouble in the first place with King Dedede, cutting the celebration short and causing Kirby and others to pursue it. Kirby's adventure is only beginning!
