How To Defeat Final Boss Void Termina

The Final Boss Battle against Void Termina will be a long one, but it will be quite different from all the previous fights you have had. To start, you will be able to freely move around the area. With the help of your Friend Power, you can continuously shoot charge attacks - so keep shooting! Dodge Void Termina's incoming attacks, blasting his weak points that will be automatically targeted until they break. When Void Termina's Sword Arms appear, get out of his way and simply shoot the point on his back. To finish off the first stage of the battle, blast the front weak spot and jump into the void that will appear.

By doing this, you will now be inside of Void Termina. The Zap Sword (Sword Copy Ability + Zap Element) comes in handy here, and it is always recommended for this part of the battle. If you have it, use the charged Zap Sword directly under Void Termina's heart, generating electricity circles that will actually destroy the incoming goop as they hurt the heart. After the heart has been destroy, grab the handholds to pull it apart. This will bring you to the next phase of the battle.

In this next phase, Void Termina will actually grow wings and begin to fly. When he flies past the ground, time will slow down immensely, alloWing you to shoot and target the weak points again. After breaking the first three of his weak spots during this part of the battle, you will have to target another weak spot on his back. In order to do this, you will have to jump over his wing when it swoops down, giving you the perfect chance to hit the target on his back.

Of course, the final phase is the most difficult part of the battle. After turning into his final form, Void Termina will actually turn your allies against you. After he does, you will have to throw your Friend Hearts at your allies while they are trying to attack you. While you are having to do this, Void Termina will continue to attack you. The beams he will generate will have breaks in them, which is where you will need to stand in order to avoid be hit. Stand between the spike attacks he will also create, flying away when he begins to charge his super Beam. Just continue flying in a circle until he stops these attacks, reviving your allies whenever they get knocked out. During this phase, continue to use your Zap Sword as it will make you invincible during its spin attacks. The trick is to keep surviving, because the longer you do, the greater chance you will have at slowly defeating Void Termina.

At The End of the battle, you will have to complete a small event. Simply mash the buttons that appear on your screen, not getting tripped up as the buttons continue to change. If done properly, you will unleash the final laser Beam that will defeat Void Termina once and for all.
