Planet Popstar: Sacred Square

Walkthrough

After completing Nature's Navel (as well as Duplex Dream), you will come to the final level on Planet Popstar, Sacred Square. This level takes place on what is suppose to be sacred ground; however, it has more of the appearance of ruins besides anything else. This level is the first time Kirby and Friends will be able to obtain and use the Friend Star action, as well as where you will have your next true Boss Battle.

Once you reach the fourth area, you will come to a cannon firing straight and Kirby and his allies. Immediately break the platform the cannon and sitting on. Not only will this allow you to stop the cannon from shooting at you, but it will also open a path of stars that will lead you through the next portion of the level. Once the star sequence stops, continue going directly to the right to find a block of Ice. Burn it to expose a switch, hitting same switch to obtain the Rainbow Puzzle Piece.

After obtaining the Rainbow Puzzle Piece, head back to the place where the star landed and proceed up to the elevated platform. This is where the next Boss, Meta Knight, awaits for your arrival. A lone Sword has been left on the ground near you, which Kirby must pick up before Meta Knight will fight him. The battle will proceed like all the others before it at first; however, Meta Knight will suddenly be overtaken by a strange force, one that will split into many copies of himself. The key to defeating Meta Knight is simple: dodge his attacks over and over again, attacking him directly after dodging his attacks.

After dealing with the duplicate Meta Knights, the real Meta Knight's mask will break, forcing him to retreat for now. At this moment, Kirby and his Friends will immediately be interrupted by a giant fortress called Jambastion. This fortress will land itself straight in the surface of Planet Popstar, and Kirby and his friends will quickly proceed to this newest threat.
