How to delete a sim?

Tap your Sim person icon at the bottom of the screen. Your Sim will come up. This is where you change his clothes, etc. In the upper left corner there is a Delete Sim red button. Press it and you have just killed your Sim forever. There is no getting him back so beware.

It doesn't work

I tried doing the above.
It says sim is busy, yet shes not doing anything! Any other suggestions?

I have the same problem with the sim being busy yet they're not doing anything :/ I can't seem to delete my Sims as all are saying busy with actions yet clearly not doing anything. Now what do we do?

Take your sim to a wardrobe closet then click change wardrobe. There is a delete button there.

The new updates won't let me delete my sim.I am trying to have a baby but I am only on level 11 and I need to be on 12 to have a new sim it told me to delete a sim but it won't let me help

Go to your Sims house then tap on the closet, tap browse clothes, then on the upper left corner there is a red button there, tap it to delete your character. Your all welcome!

You go to your wardrobe and you will see a red button in the left hand corner and it will say if you tap on it move sim out of town and it will delete it too.

The sim you have selected push the red buttun in the corner

I tried doing what you said for me to do but there is no button. Does this mean I just can't delete a sim or am I doing something wrong?

My sim won't delete in the new update, which sucks cause I added it for 'Add a Sim' goal, and it didn't count!!!!! HELP!!!

On the new update, to delete a sim just click on the character as you are playing as them and it will come up with "have birthday" and "extreme makeover" however next to their portrait is a Red Cancel icon. Press this and then remove your sim.

I found a way to remove Sims AFTER the Restaurant update:
Select the sim you want to delete, click on the sim where it is
and you will see things like: "have birthday" and more. In that screen
There is also a red buttun right of the sim name. Click on that and
The sim is removed. Be carefull: it can not be undone! Have fun

I am trying to delete my one of my Sims but it dosent have the option on the wardrode ! Help I don't know any other way how to delete my sims and add me on game center I need Neighbors : caroliousss

I have lg tv and on that I want to delete sim and house but there are not options to delete the sim or house...does anyone know how to delete on the lg tv....

The Quest is to add a new sim to town (will be my 6th sim) but when I add a sim it does not register and the quest does not finish, so I am stuck with the game. Help!!!????!!!!

If you double click your sim, the options Have Birthday and Ultimate Makeover will show up. Look at the very top of the screen and it will show a picture of your sim's face, beside that it will show a red circle with a line through it. Click that and it will ask you if you want your sim to move out of town....click yes and your sim will be deleted.

To delete a sim you first choose the sim you want to delete. Next click onto it, it should come up with the Sims name, ultimate make over and have birthday as well as a red icon next to the name. Press this and it will say are you sure you want to delete and say yes. The sim is now deleted!
