The Puzzling Pictureblock

Start by ground pounding the two end pieces. This releases the entire center section so that you can ground pound that to the floor below. Start by spining the two Wigglers and then kicking them off the platform. Then pound the upper right red button. This releases a flow of notes. If you can get them all you'll receive x3 1UPs. Then ground pound the rest and hit the green pipe. There are 70 coins to grab down here. We'll need them all when we come back for the hidden star. When you've got all the goodies this platform has to offer use the Launch Star to continue on.

Ground pound the the stacks to push them through the floor and out the other side. This will create platforms that allow you to reach the next Launch Star. Buzz Saws are hard at work destroying the wood you are using to move on. Watch their patterns and keep pushing forward to protect yourself from falling into the void.

COMET MEDAL
The Comet Medal is on a small plank on the left side. Quickly grab it and get back to the main path as there is a buzz saw working to destroy the plank it is on.

Continue on to the red button and it's Launch Star. Then ground pound the planks on this final platform until all 4 sides lock into place and create a picture of a bug. Then you need to ground pound the little Mandibug. This will make the large one angry and he'll speed up on you. Ground Pound him and get the Star.

Bugaboom's Back

Make sure to get all 70 coins from the Green Pipe. Then talk to the Hungry Luma on the next planetoid to have him transform. This will take you directly to Bugaboom.

BOSS: BUGABOOM
Pretty easy battle if your aim is true. Use the Cloud Flower to get high in the air and then ground pound Bugaboom on the back. After the first hit Bugaboom will take off and start launching red bombs at you. Just keep using the Cloud Flowers to get a height advantage on him and take him out.

Purple Coin Shadow Vault

First you only have 1 minute to get all 100 Purple Coins. Second, there are Cosmic Clones on your heels the entire time. My advice is to take the sections out in level. Get all the coins on one level as you constantly move forward and then jump up to the next level. This keeps you mobile and saves time. Also you don't want to be backtracking over your previous paths or your Cosmic Clones will get you.

Puzzle Plank Green Stars x3

Green Star #1 is right above the starting area. You need to jump off the spring board and onto the ?-block, then backflip spin into the Green Star.
Green Star #2 is one of the few I really suggest using Luigi for his extra high jumping. Where the wall falls, you need to backflip off the half-circle that is left and then spin into the Green Star.
Green Star #3 in the pink section. Stay on the platform as it falls. The Green Star is underneath.
