The Ultimate Test
Grandmaster Galaxy only opens when you have gotten all 120 Normal Stars and all 120 Green Stars. It does have checkpoints but contains 4 VERY HARD sections. If you are not 100% sure of your abilities I would come into this level with 30 guys to be safe. There is nothing worse then not quite getting the last part only to know you are going to have to do the ENTIRE thing over.
SECTION ONE: Pull Flowers
The secret to this area is to keep going. If you keep going forward you will make it clear by sticking to the top path, skipping Pull Flowers as you can.
There is also a ?-Tile section with laser turrets shooting at you. Just keep pushing forward around the outside and then clean up the cross in the center. If you keep ever going forward you'll stay ahead of all the lasers.

SECTION TWO: Clouds
This is actually a pretty easy section that is a large windmill cloud area. The winds constantly blows left to right and you need to ride the Cloud to safety. Keep as low as you can to avoid unneeded shocks.

SECTION THREE: Spin Floors
No fun for me. The floors are the spin variety and you have to contend with the shockwave machines. Make your jumps count because you do not have the liberty of spinning for some time. Go slow and do one jump at a time. Long jump into areas to cut down on number of needed jumps.

SECTION FOUR: Pull-Stars
Best advice I can give you is fall before grabbing the first Star. This drops you below. Quickly grab a Pull Star and fling yourself high above the field. Then work yourself quickly across the field above all the obstacles. If you feel yourself getting low, pause until you lose your bubble and then grab a star and fling yourself back above the mess.

SECTION FIVE: Hammer Time
There is no checkpoint here. You need to get to the far end and kill the three Bommerang Bros.

Is off the right side at the second to last platform. Jump out and then spin back to the solid platform.

The Perfect Run
Now do the whole thing over again but you only have 1 life wedge. ENJOY! Oh yeah, just one more minor detail. There are no checkpoints. ZERO. So you have to do it all in one run.

I just beat boss blits galaxy it is not hard at all but do I need to get all the comet medals and beat all of the prankster comets to unlock grandmaster galaxy?
It is going to be hard not being able to hve any bronze stars

to make the comet appear you can't have any bronze stars and you have to give the banktoad 9999 star bits.

im still on the ultiment test, but i thinkthe perfect run is a commet. am i correct?
I think its hard 2 but if u spin rite befor the hamer hits u u can deflect it
R there any cheats 4 the perfect run? I just can't do the Hammer Bro bit on one life. I can handle every other section.
The first two sections are easy, the third one is quite hard and the fourth section is really hard. I cannot do the perfect run it's megahard :(

I beat the grandmaster and got the medal but when I go back into it to do the perfect run I have 3 life wedges instead of 1 dont know what I am missing
